D-List star prompts a pre-emptive warning on The Talk.

Kathy Griffin
At this point, the name Kathy Griffin should be a red flag for any sensitive, conservative souls. However, Kathy prompted a full-on pre-emptive warning during a daytime talk appearance this week.

Before the My Life on the D-List star could get a word in on CBS's The Talk to promote her new special, "Whores on Crutches," host Julie Chen gave a warning. "Her opinions are her own, and not necessarily representative of this television show. In other words, we are not responsible for anything that comes out of her mouth."

Chen added, "We have a control room full of lawyers right now, assigned just to you."

Kathy, of course, was flattered: "I love the disclaimer! That is so fantastic!"

Apparently, Kathy is getting used to giving fair warning. She told The Talk ladies, "I have a disclaimer now that I put on the posters, and I say: 'Adult Content'--which sounds kind of like porn!"

We wouldn't expect any less from a woman who happily makes fun of A-List stars on National television. And yet, considering how scandalous Kathy is, we think her warning is pretty reasonable:

"If you're someone that carries a Bible with you everywhere you go, you probably shouldn't come. I'm just being fair."

The Bravo star promised she would mind her manners on The Talk, but her presence really rubbed off on the co-hosts -- soon after she sat down, she and hosts Chen, Sharon Osbourne, and Leah Remini were all touching each other's breasts and comparing body woes.

Kathy couldn't help herself in the conversation, and told the audience the secret of her "perky lift" was all in the bra straps:

"There's a team of invisible gay men behind me pulling them!"

And we wouldn't have it any other way.
