Cory Monteith was a much beloved member of the Glee community, and his visit to Inside the Actors Studio in 2012 only solidified his kind and genuine personality.

Monteith, who was found dead in a hotel room on July 13, gave a revealing interview with his castmates to James Lipton: he opened up about his on-screen relationship with Lea Michele's character and answered questions from Lipton's famous Pivot Questionnaire.

When asked to share his favorite word, Cory said, “Literally.”

His response to “What turns you off?” “Ignorance or bigotry,” Cory answered.

But the actor's most chilling response came with Lipton's final query, “What would you like God to say when you get to the pearly gates?”

“Sorry I haven’t been around," said Cory. “There’s a good explanation.”
