This recipe is called "Struffolli". My grandmother made it every Christmas, now that she has passed away, we make it every Christmas as a family. We use vegetable oil though.

Caroline I have been wanting to write to you for some time to express my feelings about the show. I cant watch anymore after the end of last season, which is disheartening considering it you guys were my favorite cast of all. I guess it was the loyalty factor for me. I felt that everyone turned on Teresa, and I hate to see that. You were all such close friends and the venom that has been dumped on her since the arrival of Melissa is hard to watch. Im not saying she is perfect, but a friend is a friend. I used to think that you and Jacqueline were so clear headed and kind, but now I am greatly disappointed by the direction of the show. I hate that Teresa is bullied by all, and that her personality is suddenly so wrong. She seems the same to me as she was in the first season. I like Teresa and I wish that you and your family hadnt jumped ship. I will miss the show that it was. I loved the cohesion and the fun, but now its just downright depressing. And quite frankly, Kathy and Melissa shouldnt be airing that family drama on tv like that. They may be upset with Teresa, but where is their loyalty? I certainly wish you the best, but please know that there are people who were invested in those friendships. Its a sad day. No more NJ housewives for me. I will miss what was.

Caroline you are very two-faced and a backstabber. Melissa is another one that plays on everybody. She plays a martyr - CONSISTENTLY! It is so annoying. The Christening issue was clearly - egged on by Melissa. Clearly. She NEVER admits to her part in all the problems and you all seem to be suckered in by it. Caroline - you are so hung up on letting go of the Mama strings - you embarass your own kids. You are such a two-faced person! Poor Theresea! If I were her, I wouldn't even go back to the show. Considering the conitnued attacks on her when others are the real blame. I "thought" you were somewhat sensible, but this show proved wrong. We didn't hear you saying anything negative about Melissa's behavior or the bad things Kathy says. What is wrong with you? Because of a stupid comment in a cook book? Please - let it go! You weren't happy about the "naked" girls either, and you know it.

In the reunion you put on an act with the "faces" you were making. You looked stupid - no, you weren't "hearing" stupid things - you weren't really listening only acting. You also act as the holier than thou with no faults. You CAN be fun, if only you unstuffed your head from listening to people like Melissa and Kathy. You have absolutely no business giving people advise. You can't figure out right from wrong. Constant comment: Don't mess with me are OLD. Don't mess with other people, like Theresea.

Caroline you are only a passing phase in being considered a "family" or a "good frined" because your own actions define you bad decisions.

Maybe your strange definition of pride messes with your personal life big time.

Leave Theresea alone and be a "real" friend.

Why don't you see you blow things out of proportion and someone needs to address that with you. You contradict yourself continuously. You are untrustworthy and will turn on anyone.
