Which Star Could Turn Patti Stanger Into a Pussycat?

Dating advice and other wisdom from this season's Millionaires.

By Lauren Metz

Millionaire Matchmaker Patti Stanger wrapped up her New York run last week, so we took the opportunity to catch up with some of our love-seeking favorites from this season.

Celebrity caterer Andrea Correale, surf-loving entrepreneur PJ Marks, and "Queen of Romance Novels" Cindy Guyer's date Michael Wachs all seemed on their way toward a blissful ever after, but alas, they're back on the market.

"I never saw Carlos again," Andrea tells me. "He lives almost three hours away in Philadelphia. He was a very nice man, but the distance and our jobs made it impossible."

In PJ's case, Patti went out on a limb and introduced him to her close friend Amy. "There was definitely something to Amy and I, and Patti's gut on that was spot on," PJ says. "We are just at different points in our lives so it didn't pan out."

Unfortch, same goes for Michael. "I was asked if I would date an older woman. Being 29 at the time of filming, I thought she meant mid 30s, not late 40s... Things didn't work out romantically speaking, but I think both Cindy and I found a good friend in one another."

But a potential trip to the friend zone is hardly the most daunting thing these clients faced. "It's not exactly a cake walk going in front of the firing range during the vetting process for who will get handpicked for the mixer," Michael spills to me. "Patti rips you to shreds, tears your heart out and buries you." Yipes.

As for the future Millionaires seeking to join Ms. Stanger's exclusive club, PJ's advice is to go for it. "Going on the show was a lot of fun, and even if you don't meet the girl or guy of your dreams, you'll have a lot of offers after the show airs. My life has changed so much since my episode aired and it has been completely positive. I have had all kinds of offers, both business and personal, and I have become friends with the other cast members. We are actually working on a new project together. Keep your eyes peeled, we're not done yet."

And what about the Matchmaker herself? Andrea thinks she has the cure to calm the chaos. "I would set Patti up with Steven Seagal. She needs the strong, deep, understanding type, who will get her, love her, but not tolerate her crap. He would melt her strong exterior. Once he seduced her she would be a sweet little canary."
