Yigit Pura Dishes on His 'Sweet' New Cookbook

The 'Top Chef: Just Desserts' winner's tome hits shelves in August.

Get ready to satisfy your sweet tooth! Top Chef: Just Desserts winner Yigit Pura has a new book, titled "Sweet Alchemy," coming to a store near you.

Watch the Top Chef Season 21 premiere on Wednesday, March 20 at 9/8c on Bravo and next day on Peacock.

The book features 78, yes 78, recipes from the dessert chef, including ones featured at his San Francisco shop, Tout Sweet Patisserie. But, you'll have to wait a few more weeks to get your paws on it. It doesn't hit retailers until August 19.

What's inside? Yigit takes a "simple" approach to making these desserts. According to the publisher's website, each chapter is broken down into ingredients (sugar, flour, dairy, fruit, and chocolate) and features recipes for fare such as Butterscotch Sauce, Baked Berry Meringue Kisses, Negroni Creamsicle, Citrus and Vanilla Bean Scented Panna Cotta and more.

Fans can get a first-look at some of the sugary confections featured in the book thanks to a delicious-looking video, which features the making of the unbelievable layered crepe cake brulee.

The book is getting a rave review from Gail Simmons. She said, "Sweet Alchemy is a declaration of love! From the way Yigit describes his first memories of caramel to his most complex and layered recipes, he arms you with the techniques you need to make sure you're as successful in your kitchen as he is in his."
