The blonde goddess received her U.S. citizenship on Thursday, flanked by her husband, music tycoon David Foster, and wing-woman Brandi Glanville. Yolanda declared how thrilled she was via Twitter while en route to the ceremony. And in true Yolanda-style, she was perfectly-coiffed, and draped in an American flag scarf.

Foster told E! News, "As a little girl, it was always my dream to come to America. I am living the American dream every day. I am so thankful." "We worked very hard. We worked for everything we have in our life. We worked hard to get where we are today," she said.
So what’s first on her American bucket list? Voting!
“I've never voted in my life. I left Holland right when I was 16 and I wasn't eligible to vote and when I came here I wasn't allowed to vote. I'm excited to go with my husband and discuss politics.”
It’s been a rough year for Yolanda, who’s struggled with a serious case of Lyme Disease. The ailment left her exhausted and in need of serious medical attention, including a recent surgery.
"I am struggling through my days," she told E! of her disease. "I'm hoping I will be able soon to catch up and participate in my regular life."
But she isn’t letting Lyme keep her low. In fact, Yolanda added that she just finished a juice cleanse with her daughter Gigi.
Do you think it was her infamous Master Cleanse? We all know she’s got enough lemons for it!
Wish Yolanda congrats in the Comments section below!
Congrats Yolanda.......on becoming an American citizen..... we out here in tv America miss the BH HW's...... the OC ladies are ok, but no parties....no reason to order fancy pj's for a night of viewer party crashing, the way I was accustomed with the BH ladies......not once during this OC season have I mixed a cocktail in order to numb myself from the intense emotional drama....one of them tried to have a dinner party, but kicked everybody out...almost throwing one out with her seat....there is never much discussion with this group, just screaming, but not one can make a facial expression....as a viewer I don't know whether they are mad, glad or just bad.....it takes a while to figure out a group of women when they register one look... I have thought of you often, and hope your struggles will be a bad memory next season...if you do not come back, please make guest appearances.....again, congratulations....
Congratulations, Yolanda, on becoming a US citizen!
After learning of your horrible ordeal with Lymes disease, I encouraged my adult son to go to clinic to have a tick removed last week. He is on antibiotics for 10 days and has been so nauseated from them that he then received a prescription for that! So while he has only had a very small dose of your treatment experience, it was enough to be thankful that he will not have to worry that he would contract the disease. Hope you feeling better soon.
