The Original Aunt Viv Is Not Having It with That Fresh Prince Of Bel Air Reunion Photo

The actress even called her former on-screen son a "media hoe".

The cast of The Fresh Prince of Bel Air recently had a reunion captured on Alfonso Ribeiro’s (who played Carlton) Instagram page. In the caption, Alfonso mentions the late James Avery, who played Uncle Phil, wishing he could be there joining them. But there was someone else missing who did not get a shout out—Janet Hubert, the original Aunt Viv.

Always amazing to spend an afternoon with my Fresh Prince family. Wishing that James Avery was still with us to make this complete.

If you’re wondering if she noticed, she definitely, definitely did.

In a Facebook post that has since been deleted, Janet wrote, “I know the media hoe [sic] Alphonso Ribero has posted his so called reunion photo. Folks keep telling me about it. He was always the ass wipe for Will [Smith]. There will never be a true reunion of the Fresh Prince. I have no interest in seeing any of these people on that kind of level.”

But she added that she’s not mad about not being included, actually, so don’t stress.

“I am not offended in the least by this photo,” Janet wrote, “It was an event for Karen’s charity. It does however prompt me to take some meetings in Hollywood to pitch my memoir PERFECTION IS NOT A SITCOM MOM, and tell of the behind the scenes story before I leave this earth.”

US Weekly reports that Janet has been feuding with Will since she was fired in 1993 and replaced by a newer Aunt Viv, who seemed less inclined to sound off to the media about how she was treated. Janet has been angry about the situation for a long time, and whether you agree with her or not, it's always kind of amazing when people with some behind-the-scenes insight share exactly how they feel. Keep posting, Janet. This is even more entertaining than reunion photos.
