These Are the Apps Cheaters Are Using To Get Away With Their Secret Life

Yup, technology is assisting when cheaters cheat.

In the new Bravo series, Imposters, premiering Feb. 7, gorgeous con artist Maddie (Inbar Lavi), seduces her targets and then robs them of everything, leaving without a trace, leaving them to wonder how she pulled off a double life.

Cheaters are sneaky—and now they have technology to help them out. The old ways a cheater would get caught are now nearly obsolete. Check an email? they’re on to you. Read their texts? Nice try.

Here are some clever ways that cheaters are hiding their extracurricular activities. If you spot these apps on your significant other’s phone, beware.

Tiger Text allows its users to store texts secretly. Its not promoted as a cheating app, but it hides texts you want hidden and plays an out of service tone when someone you don’t want to be calling is trying to call.

Nosy Trap captures the nosy people in your life by snapping a picture of them as they try to look inside your iPhone or iPad. When you leave your iPhone unattended, you activate the app, which will display a false desktop of iPhone application icons. When the snoopers makes a move, a video using the front facing camera on your iPhone will start rolling.

On Private Photo, the tricky app appears as a calculator. When you input a password, the app opens up a vault of hidden images. They are also stored in the app and never in your photo library. This company banks on the idea that no-one would ever dream to look in the calculator app for cheating clues.

Fox Private Messages allows a cheater to delete all their text messages with just the shake of a phone. The app also shows up in disguise on your screen.

“To keep secret messages and calls of particular number, add it as Private Contact,” reads the description.

“After that when any new message received from that contact, it directly move inside application. Its easy to use and keeps user conversation secret. Your SMS and call conversation is 100 percent secret and secure.”

Imposters premieres Tuesday, February 7 at 10/9c.
