As someone who has skied for most of her life, I can tell you there's nothing I love more than the anticipation of hitting the slopes, riding the chairlift up the mountain and slicing through fresh powder. Whether you’re boarding or skiing, the experience is both athletic and meditative—you’re simultaneously feeling the burn and clearing your mind.

But my other favorite part of the whole experience is après ski. You know that song lyric, “After the show, it’s the after party”? Well, nowhere is that more applicable than on the mountain. You’ve skied your last run of the day, and it’s time to take off those clunky boots off and head to the lodge—or your chalet, or the pub in town, or nestled in an Adirondack chair at the foot of a fire pit. Regardless of where you land, the vibe is slightly euphoric—you can still feel the wind in your hair, and you’re ready to celebrate the day with a pint or a glass of Champagne. And such revelry calls for a specific look, something that is cozy and warm, but chic and glam all at once.
