This is What Belle's Iconic Yellow Dress Would Look Like IRL

This version of the Beauty and the Beast ballgown suits an "active princess."

If you believe in fairy tales—or know every word to "Be Our Guest"—this one's for you. The live-action version of Beauty and the Beast will light up big screens in March 2017. Emma Watson will play Belle, and she's just as geeked out as all of us: "I can’t even think how many times I watched [Beauty and the Beast] as a child,” Emma told Entertainment Weekly. “I knew all the words by heart. I knew all the songs by heart.”

Of course, playing the beautiful bookworm also means that Emma gets to wear her iconic yellow dress, and the publication has released a peek of what it will look like in the live action version of the film.

Costume designer Jacqueline Durran told EW that she wanted the dress to suit an "active princess," and as such, she removed corseting and any other details that would impede movement. Emma got involved in the design process, too: "I really embraced working on the dress, making sure that it was utterly whimsical, and magical,” she said. “The scene that I wear that dress in, and I have that dance in, it really tells the story of Beast and Belle falling in love... This is total, blissful escapism. You are transported to another world. The dress, and the dancing, and the candlelight, and the music—it was really fun to work on every aspect of that." Seriously, how are we expected to wait till March now?
