Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney's Wedding is Basically a $51K Party for Their Dogs and We Are Here For It

Now this is our kind of wedding!

The blessed event is finally upon us! Tonight, Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney get married on the season 5 finale of Vanderpump Rules.

We have already assembled a thoroughly convincing argument all about how Tom and Katie’s dogs—Gordo and Butter—are the unifying force behind the couple. And tonight all of our hard work will be validated as we watch what is essentially a $51K celebration of the two puppers.

Yes, Katie and Tom will both look stunning. Yes, Lisa Vanderpump will deliver a moving ceremony. Yes, Stassi Schroeder will continue to be our favorite personality in the history of modern television. But all of that will pale in comparison to the many, many, many spotlights on Gordo and Butter.

First off: The pre-wedding prep. After both dogs traveled with Tom and Katie up to the Sierra Nevada mountains, Butter went with Katie and Gordo went with Tom. As such, we got to see a ton of pics of Butter enjoying that #bridalglamsquad kind of life:

And then, of course, as seen in last week's trailer, Gordo and Butter were carried down the aisle before assuming their puppy places among the bridal party:

But perhaps the greatest homage of all: Katie and Tom had a personalized Snapchat filter made specifically for their wedding. And who did it feature? The bride and groom? Um, NO. It featured Gordo and Butter, of course!

Be honest: who are you looking at in these Snapchat photos? Ariana Madix? Scheana Shay? NO, YOU ARE LOOKING AT THE ILLUSTRATIONS OF GORDO AND BUTTER. If that's not proof that Katie and Tom primarily wanted to celebrate their fluffy friends, we're not sure what is. Congratulations, Gordo and Butter! (And Katie and Tom, of course!)

Unleashed is Bravo's celebration of pamper-worthy pets and how to spoil them. Want more? Then Like us on Facebook to stay connected to our daily updates.
