Kylie Jenner's Lip Kits are basically the Cabbage Patch Kids of beauty products. (For those of you who missed the '80s: they're super hot.) Now, the youngest KUWTK star is expanding her beauty biz to include eyeshadow. Sorry, we meant Kyshadow.
Yesterday, the dark-haired beauty took to social media to announce the upcoming release of her first eyeshadow palette. Kylie also posted a video on her website explaining that she's been wearing the palette's bronze hues every single day for the past several months. (If you look back at her Instagram snaps, you may recognize it!)
In the video, Kylie's makeup artist Arielle Tejada buffs the light "Jasper" and "Quartz" shades onto Kylie's brow bone. Moving into the lighter brown shades, she applies "Topaz" into Kylie's crease, then dabs on some reddish-brown hues to ibring more warmth to the look. Through it all, there's lots of blending using a small, fluffy brush.
But here's the secret sauce: Kylie included an orange hue in the kit, called "Citrine." She applies the bright color over the top of the other shadows, and even applies it to under her eyes to make the rest of the colors pop. (We kind of can't wait to try this trick.)
The beauty buff has two other eyeshadow palettes in the works, which she expects to release before the end of the year. So, when will the bronze palette be available? We'll let Kylie herself answer that one: "Stay tuned on @kyliecosmetics Instagram! It's sooner than you think! ;)"
