Will Yeezy's Clear Boot Be The Hit—or the Miss—of the Season?

As wife and muse to the designer behind Yeezy, Kim Kardashian West usually gets a first crack at new styles from the buzzy label. So when she stepped out recently wearing tall, completely clear boots, we assumed the unique shoes would be part of Yeezy's Season 4 collection. Okay, first, we thought shower curtain; then, we thought New York Fashion Week.

Our theory proved right today, when Kanye presented his lineup of army-surplus-inspired fashion (whoops, make that "apparel") in a hauntingly stark presentation on Roosevelt Island. The models famously represented a range of ethicities, and one beauty wore the Kim-approved boots in question.

New York Times fashion critic Vanessa Friedman posted a shot of the head-scratching fashion statement, noting that they were indeed the same boots Kim wore yesterday. (She also noted some other, perhaps not-as-cool details of the show, including that it ran late, the Kardashians ran later, and one model passed out from the heat.)

This isn't the only time Kim has been spotted in headline-making boots this week. She also made the rounds in a striking silver pair. And tonight, Kendall and Kylie will host their #NYFW presentation, and we can't wait to see what Kim wear to saunter into that.
