You can be tall dark and handsome all you want—but if you’re showing off your long hairy legs in khaki cargo shorts it could be a deal breaker.
Guys who tend to wear tan shorts in their dating app profiles are turnoff, say women who were asked what made them reject a man on social media.
Hater, an app which connects people based on their dislikes, researched the profiles of their 400,000 users to determine which men were swiped right on most, and those who are swiped right on least.
Men who were into video games, Pokemon Go, staying inside on a sunny day, or wearing those dreaded shorts all made the no list.
But, it seems you don’t have to be rich, on the surface anyway. Women swiped right on guys who sipped inexpensive hipster beer PBR and liked to stay at Airbnbs. Men who shopped at J. Crew were a hit. Wait, don’t they specialize in those shorts? Yes, but women preferred they buy skinny jeans and V-neck sweaters while shopping there.
So if you want to land a lady, get outside in the sun wearing your V-Neck sweater and skinny jeans and sweat your, you know, off.
