D’Andre is 22 and grew up in the Bronx. After losing his father at 14, he dropped of school and his fascination with street life landed him in prison for a year. Following his release, he obtained his GED and began working at a coffee shop in Harlem where he met a chef who later introduced him to Roblé. Roblé saw his potential and gave him a job washing dishes at the NYC hotspot Avenue. Roblé is now training D’Andre to become a cook. When he’s not in the kitchen, D’Andre loves to perform hip-hop.
