Artie, I really really enjoyed watching you. As a matter of fact I absolutely loved this show. It's is Bravo's finest and MOST DECENT. However, you my man are too funny. I love you and your antics. Enjoy the ride.
You seem to be between a rock and a hard place sometimes. Yet, you always manage to present with class and style. I just hope Roble realizes that is from hard work, talent, and experience. I like how you lead Jasmine by dialing back on some of her crazier ideas. She should take advantage of your skills and experience. All in all, the whole group makes a good team.
That was a great call that Roble made for the layout of the tables at John's girlfriends birthday party. Family style always works for crab feast.
Artie is right.
The problem however that I see is communication Roble needs to have a talk with his sister and with Artie after the initial meeting to clearly define what is going to happen at each party and where
Artie and his sister Jasmine will come in. The dynamic of how the job that Artie and Jasmine work is going to change from customer to customer. Some customers will demand that you stay on task. Others will have the time to wait for a 40 min salad. Your customer's time is important.
I personally would not have wanted to wait for anyones 40 min salad no matter how good.... and if I am paying the bill, waiting that long for the salad would have been a deal breaker for me if not only the salad was not good, but everything else as well. That being the case I feel that the desert error was a reflection of the timing and lack of communication with the person making the desert. But Artie may have wanted to wait till another time ... like the team meeting to discuss what went right and what went wrong. That is the only way you can remain GREAT/ EXCEPTIONAL at what you do.
The great thing is that Roble has a terrific team and if I could afford to have him cater my party I would hire him ..... but I am not waiting 40 min for a salad. :) Love you guys and wish you great success!
