Episode 4 was a lot of fun. Let me say the Chanel Bag was so unfair. Everyone got what they wanted -- except me. I even brought in my friend Dani Stahl to authenticate it for her!! But the truth is, the bag will end up getting more in the store for it so it was a good deal. But $10 at a garage sale in Texas? Incredible. . .
Wow, I cannot believe that you still have a job! First you undermine your manager in front of a customer and your reason is that you did not want to insult the customer. THEN you completely insult a customer by offering her 1/3 of what the Chanel bag was worth and pout like a petulant teenager when you don't get your way. So basically you are more than willing to insult a customer as long as you gain from it? You do realize that you basically tried to steal almost $2000 from your customer and the store you work for? That would have definitely gotten you fired. Grow up and learn how to act professionally.
Goodness, i have to say i thought your whole Chanel bag thing was way over the top. Trying to cut the store and tje customers out of the deal was really tacky. In my opinion, that is not how consignment should be. The best pieces need to go in the store so your loyal customers can have the opportunity to find the amazing deals that can be found in a consignment store, and the store can make money. In turn that encourages us to bring more bounty.
I am saddened know the employees can poach the good stuff turns me off completely to your brand. Raising the price of the bag to cover the price of the shoes she wanted was not such a great thing either. What if her purse doesn't sell at the higher price?
i have been a consignment shopper for many many year. I gotten to know the owner of one of the ones I shop in, and she does not take anything for herself as she loves it when her customers get a great deal on some amazing find that they love.
i appreciate that a lot, and as a result, i have scored some amazing items and am a loyal shopper there.
Love, love, love the show! Resale is in my heart and it's completely about the hunt of the luxury goods that gets me excited, so I completely relate. Texas is definitely where it's at, I've gotten a Chanel ladylike suit in mint condition (skirt and jacket) for $150, and recently a pair of black Chanel wool trousers for $4.50! Both items I scored through the Salvation Army here in Dallas. You need to make a trip out here, to hit up the re-sale shops and garage sales!
This show is such an inspirational show, where you have to be creative in having your own business and being your own boss.Karina lepiner gave me a great idea as of how I can be my own boss in the most unique way, there is a statement she made and I answered to her absence you can have it privately, it is something she said she never had, or don't have the time for.

Love your show! Is the Lauren Bacall bag still for sale?
