In this episode we saw Zoila get wicked PO’d at me after I made what I thought was an innocent employment related joke. Light-hearted kidding around is what usually happens at our lunch breaks and Jeff was correct in saying that the vast majority of lunches don’t end in tears. That was not the case this time, however, when I learned (the hard way) that that moment was not the best time to joke about Zoila not appreciating her job. Things got ‘real’ when Zoila left the table, started crying, and called me an A-hole. It bears mentioning that Zoila calls me an A-hole at least once every single day, but I’m pretty sure she meant it this time. The funny thing is that I didn’t even remember at the time what I said to her to start the whole thing - I truly thought we were all joking and having fun. Perhaps this is evidence that, after having worked there for a year and a half, Jeff’s callous emotional tendencies are beginning to rub off on me. So, I apologized to her repeatedly and tried to communicate to her that I had no intention of offending her in any way. She did not accept these apologies however, and went on to not speak to me at all for two whole weeks. She eventually forgave me though, and we got back to business as usual. Zoila’s very witty and fun to work with. This incident was but a minor blemish on an otherwise rewarding professional relationship.

Jett -- you remind me of a young John Travolta. You're quiet and you keep your cool (very smart in Jeff's office/home)! Keep it up because you're a great addition and should stay as a regular to the show.
Jett, It was so cool of you to realize on the spot oh, shes really upset, I don't want that, and then apologize immediately and sincerly:) That never happens on reality shows, people get irrational and fight until their lives are destroyed by embarrassment., i.e., The real housewives, real world, etc. Zoila needed to chill out/meditate 4 real, I think she just projected all her frustrations w Jeff onto you. That might be why Jeff keeps you around, so you bear the brunt of his OCD, j/j Jeff, I love u and think ur great too, but I think u should let ur co-workrs have pics of pets/fam/friends in the office. The whole cast and show is awesome and soo funny, it's really a refreshing show.
Hey Jett was great to finally see more of you, I hope it continues. Glad Zoila forgave you. I love everyone on the show and would hate to see any lasting bad feelings.

I think Zoila was more upset about Jeff's teasing and Jett just caught the brunt of it, frankly. Jett seems to be a really hard worker and was just teasing. I don't think he was at fault here really.

You are indeed a man of character and integrity to apologize publicly to Zoila. Remain true to yourself. Don't ever get caught up into the "Hollywood" nonsense. Remain grounded and humble. You are a perfect addition to Jeff's team. You bring much needed balance there:)

Don't hurt Zoila's feelings anymore. To see her cry was really heart breaking. She is older than you and has been working longer for Jeff, so you should show her much more respect and politeness.

Hi Jett! Finally, we get to hear from you. I have been complaining to the show that we don't get to see enough of you at all!! I look forward to the lunch scenes because I know that you are going to be there. They showed tons of stuff on that last guy in your spot, that finally quit because he couldn't handle it. Obviously you can handle it, so let's see lots more of you please. Great job on the way you handled Zoila. She was just being sensitive. I was obvious that you and Jeff were shocked that she reacted the way she did because you were both playing. I love you guys. I wish Jeff wasn't gay because I want to marry him.

You are all very good people and I LOVE the show. Jeff is an ultra riot and considering all his quirks, I think you, Jennie, Trace, Zoila, Sarah and Jeff are a perfect fit. Jeff may be extremely difficult to work for, but I believe he is a very good person with a great big heart.

Great to hear your thoughts and I can see why you fit in at the office - very funny. Poor Zoila, sometimes our insecurities are fanned and get to be to much and that was obviously her breaking point. I hope she could see in Jeff's private interview how much it seems he loves her though.

I think you're adorable and funny! You and Jeff just have to remember that sometimes women don't share the same humor as men. We DO tend to be more emotional, but I think it was silly of Zoila to not speak to you for so long. You did sincerely apologize.
Tonights show showed a lovely softer side of Jeff. I began watching this show this year and love it. I love Jenni, Zoila and all the others. Jenni is wonderful in handling OCD Jeff. That can be very hard. That runs in my family, but not as pronounced.

That was very sad Spirit died. Spirit is in peace and a better place. We must all learn to take time for the less fortunate. Jeff, you had good intentions that is for sure but Spirit could not wait. Do not dwell on it.

I think Zoila was more4 reacting to her frustrations than to the actual remark. We all have times when anything can put us over the edge. I think she works hard, puts up with a lot and by the way I think you two are good together,,,but please don't add fuel to the fire when Jeff is on her back. She is my favorite
Good blog Jett! It's good to finally hear from you. I am happy you apologized to Zoila. You seem to be always doing your job and staying under the radar which is probably the best route to take when working for Jeff Lewis.
