Tony Micelli, "Who's The Boss?"
Here's an idea for a sit-com. A fun-lovin' working-class Italian Brooklynite goes head to head with a uptight high-powered Ad Exec from a posh Connecticut neighborhood. Catch is... he's her maid!! Tony Micelli turned the housekeeper stereotype on it's head when he started his "brand new life" and changed Angela Bower's world forever. We chuckled when the macho former major leaguer did "girly" things like dust and sew (somehow this didn't get old) and we rooted for him and all his charming persistence. Zoila probably couldn't catch a pop-up like Tony, but we're pretty sure she could out-sweep him faster than you can say Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza. Z's the boss in this scenario.

Mr. Belvedere, "Mr. Belvedere"
Cue that sweet ragtime music and enter the poshest, kindest, wittiest butler this side of the Allegheny. How would a Brit like Lynn Belvedere fit in with the typical American fam of Pennsylvania? Quite swimmingly, of course! He won the hearts of the disapproving Owens' and boob-tubers alike with his good-natured spirit and bevy of life lessons. We only wish Zoila could meet him in TV universe because they sure make a great team. Do I smell a spin-off?
-
Charles, "Charles In Charge"
He was more of a nanny than a housekeeper, but there's no keeping Scott Baio's best role off this list. Just kidding, have you seen "Diagnosis Murder?" Nevermind. Jersey collegiate Charles takes charge of three whiny adolescents all while dealing with zany best-friend Buddy, crazy 80's dilemmas like deciding who to take to a Springsteen concert, and mean old Walter Powell! That's nothing compared to Jenni and Jeff . Zoila takes this one.
-
Lurch, "The Addams Family"
Mysterious, haunting, and a man of few words, Lurch was the perfect butler for the Addams Family. He might loyal and hard-working, but something tells us that he would just freak someone like Jeff out. Zoila shines again.
-
Dorota, "Gossip Girl"
Behind every good Queen B there's a great Darota. Super-schemer Blair Waldorf most likely referred to her right-hand-woman as "the help" before she got to know her, but Darota is so much more than a housekeeper. Ready and willing to pick up the pieces at the drop of a headband Ms. D has all savvy, style, and street-smarts of her needy boss. Plus, she throws killer parties!. She's fictional, but we sure would love to see Z and D team up for world domination.
-
Geoffrey, "The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air"
His last name was actually Butler so he must be good at his job! Geoffrey was truly the spirit of the Banks family. OK, the charismatic movie star in the acid wash overalls was... but let's forget about Mr. Smith and focus on the gentleman in the suit. Geoffrey was always good for cynical commentary, intelligent conversation, and rational thinking. What else do we know about him? He has sweet dance moves (as evidenced in numerous episodes), has a long lost son, and gets women as hot as Naomi Campbell. Oh wait, that was Naomi Campbell? Minus points for "not in your wildest dreams" situations. At least Zoila keeps it real.
-
Rosie, "The Jetsons"
Fast, efficient, and kind of bitchy, Rosie kept the Jetsons in line. Sure, she suffered malfunctions once and a while, but that's a small price to pay for an advanced piece of machinary wearing an apron. Much like Zoila, she was filled with wit and sass and had a soft spot for her dear boss, "Mr. J." She did have exceptional speed due to having wheels for feet, so sorry Zoila, points go to the robot on this one.
-
Benson, "Benson"
Just another quick-witted housekeeper with a heart of gold, you say? Um, Benson worked for the Governer and he worked his way up the political ranks! Zoila never ran in a major election, but she is the heart of Jeff's operation. This one's a draw!

The One and Only Zoila
Ain't nothing like the real thing, baby. We could never compare Zoila. Consensus is... she's one of a kind.
