Next week we get to meet Jeff's grandma! This explains a lot...
To Jeff: I saw the episode with your lovely family member, monkey, that recently passed, so sorry, however, thank you for sharing. This is not the first time, your 'good heart' shows; thank you for sharing that part of you, as well. You are a very good business person, with a good group around you. May you have many years of prosperity and goodness surrounding you.
I'm sorry to say, I really don't like you very much! You seem to have such a "I think I'm better than you" attitude. Everything you do and say is always against Andy. Has he ever done anything to you personally for you to treat him the way you do? You are constantly saying things about him. I agree with Andrew that you seem to wait for him to screw up. And you make it SO OBVIOUS!! REMEMBER, YOU'RE NOT PERFECT EITHER SO STOP ACTING LIKE YOU ARE---IT'S DISGUSTING ALREADY!! YOU ARE DEFINITELY NOT "ALL THAT!" THEN, YOU DON'T DO MUCH, PEOPLE ARE DOING THINGS AND YOU ARE JUST STANDING THERE LIKE THE BIG BOSS! KEEP IN MIND WHO IS BOSS-JEFF! LIGHTEN UP AND TAKE THE STICK OUT OF YOUR BUTT AND PLEASE STOP STANDING AROUND LIKE YOU ARE SUPERVISING EVERYONE'S WORK, IT IS GETTING REALLY OLD. I REALLY DON'T BLAME ANDY WHEN HE SAYS HE WANTED TO TELL YOU TO "SHUT THE F*** UP BECAUSE I WOULD HAVE FELT THE SAME.
i just have to ask... gage what stick is up your butt? you come off as such a bitter @sshole. In the beginning I thought "oh jeff has a cute boyfriend" but now you look ugly and angry. And kind of a bully. You are zero in fun and Im surprised Jeff is attracted to you. Just saying...
Absolutely love the show and all of the cast. Watching from Australia - I'm awake at midnight every Tuesday to watch and never miss an episode. Love your design work Jeff, you are so talented, and you manage to have me in hysterics every show. Hope the show continues on! Have to say, I think you will make a wonderful Father and I hope that a child comes into your life one day. So glad to see Jenni happy, she really deserves it.
I love you and everyone in the show, you all are so perfectly imperfect. I don't care what all these comments says and I am sure you neither, I think Gage is a wonderful guy, I hope you make it work because you seem great for each other and accept each other's shortcomings. Zoila has been a little cranky lately but still funny, I hope she gets her groove back... the best of luck to you. xoxoxoox
I think you are hot, smart and incredibly good hearted.. I just don't understand how can you be in love with someone like Gage??? He just acts like some self entitled wife! The way he acted with Andrew, just simply showed , that he is just a total A..hole ( in his own words)...You need a man next to you, not just some simply pretty boy hoping to be a trophy wife...He has nothing to show for , I think he will be better in some gay magazine that you find in bars and clubs or maybe he could be cast in the Next " Real Housewives of West Hollywood"
Am I the only person that just can't get past Gage's arrogance? I don't feel he has been a good addition at all. The last thing Jeff needs is a moody wife. Sorry Gage...like you said about Andrew....no second chances.....you are holding Jeff back.
Jeff, you need to get rid of Zola. It is obvious she is lazy, disrespectful and dishonest. Do you realize the trouble you can bring upon yourself knowing she dismissed her deportation as if she is above the law. Her attitude annoys me and it is your fault. Being the controlling personality you are, her behavior is a mini-you. The difference is, you are the boss.
So many people come to this country believing they deserve special treatment and Zola resonates this type of behavior. It's time to cut the noose!
@neutrino Apparently you have never worked for someone with a strong personality or a perfectionist, or you would realize that the typical result is a type of mirroring effect....if Zoila was a pansy, Jeff Lewis would have chewed her up long ago....I think her attitude is exactly what wil keep her job secure... Jeff knows he is going to lose it over something, big or small, who better to be around during such times than a person that will shut the door and say shut up...and can open it an hour later and be ok..... What good is an employee that takes everything so personal??He would go through so many maids, it would be senseless...Zoila was hired to live in that house to be a part of every event that goes on in the running of the house...she has proven her loyalty by not getting even with him everytime he loses it
Jeff, I think it's commendable that you decided to update your grandmother's home, but I can understand why she became so upset while your crew was emptying her living room. Her well-cared-for furniture was tossed outside as though you were emptying a crack house! That generation grew up during the Depression and, by and large, bought the best quality they could afford and took care of it. Had you folded and boxed her curtains and perhaps arranged for Goodwill or another charity to pick up her furniture - in other words, treated her belongings with respect - then perhaps she would have become less anxious about the process. I just happened to have Bravo on as I cooked dinner and turned this episode off because, after a long day, I don't need to watch a sweet little old lady being upset by her well-meaning yet insensitive grandson.
@MendhamMom I agree...I also figured her anxiety over losing "the heavy lined drapes", had a lot to do with the fact she lived alone and was concerned with privacy....that is a big deal when you are by yourself.... She sees the houses he designs....rarely a curtain or a shade at the window....i love the look of just window with nothing hanging around it, and have two huge windows standing naked in my house...they face woods...but recently i have felt really skittish in this room at night....and find myself not spending time in the room.. So i totally got the point about those lined drapes....the color of the pillows was great, so her reaction to those surprised me...i have never known anyone who didn't like blue....then she made poor Vanina feel like she made the decision for blue... I was a little surprised however, that she seemed not to have been a part of the color process...color in a room is an intensely personal thing...they could have made those pillows in fern green just as easily as blue...maybe they were trying to get her to "flip out" ...which would not have been wise... But who didn't feel the shock when she told Jeff that she wanted the house to go to Jeffs brother after Jeff did the new decor...i wondered if this was planned or spontaneous...and if Granny didn't have some hidden animosity at Jeff for becoming so famous while his brothers were not...maybe she sees him as an independently wealthy man who was trying to downsize her possessions now so when he got the house one day, he would not have to deal with stuff like calico printed teddy bears in rocking chairs....i hate to say this...but some old ladies don't appreciate how good they have it when a grandchild, not a child, but a grandchild makes such a generous gesture of love and caring...we should all be so lucky to have a grandson like that...
I love you and the show immensely! However, there is just something about Gage that does not sit well with me. I know he is your partner but he seems to be a little too rude, too pouty (if things don't go his way) and he tries to be too perfect . He's got to lighten up a little, after all it is YOUR business! He's seems to be a little uptight, he's got to relax. He's too young to be acting like that. Please don't make Zoila cry anymore. No matter what, she is very loyal to you and that is very important especially in today's world. Best of luck. Please continue with the show-I LOVE IT!! IF I WERE TO EVER GET RICH (YEAH RIGHT) I WOULD HIRE YOU TO DO MY HOUSE BECAUSE I LOVE YOUR CHOICE OF COLOR AND FURNITURE. WELL, EVERYTHING FOR THAT MATTER.
Hey Cindy, I totally agree w/ you about Gage. I feel like if he had his way, EVERYONE currently working for Jeff would be fired, even Jenni! Quality people do not want to work for a guy who has a boyfriend, also present at the job, planting a bug in the boss' ear and being so hard on everyone. And yet it appears Gage does nothing all day long. I've yet to see Gage "save the day" or do anything great.
@vikk121 @cindy1963 I agree...not sure how wise it is to have this arrangement, even if cameras are there for a show...I am also not feeling their relationship is that stable...they seem so opposite to the point of being not just an odd couple, but strange bedfellows.... Gage wants to a housewife and wonder if he does do that, if perhaps RHBH might drop Brandi or Lisa and let Gage slip in there... He does not appear to want anyone around Jeff...if Jeff isn't careful, he will lose people, and may not be fulfilled as a partner to Gage...and Gage will be the one blamed for chasing people away...Zoila did say he could go back to Nebraska or wherever he came from...apparently she knows Jeff backs her up on that, or she would not have said it... How wise is it for Jeff to start a family with Gage when he does not seem to be tolerant of all the different personalities that surrounds Jeff....and anyway....Gage cannot get pregnant, so "starting a family" is going to take some effort and concentration on that task....Jeff seems too busy and distracted... I will say this...I think both Jeff and Gage would make really good dads...but having children will not come as easy to them as a couple....there will be planning, strategy and things the average couple never goes through....to go through that and then find out the bond isn't there is just sad, and neither one deserves that sadness... Maybe they will recognize this before next season because Gage's anguish is so visible at times...i feel bad for him
Love the show ... Love The cast! Don't like to see Zoila crying, but she's a tough cookie she can take the heat. Jeff and Gage compliment each other, I think they would make great parents. Jeff is right, you need to move from house to house in that kind of business ... but when a child does come into their home, he/she/baby will also need to be moving from home to home as well. In a relationship you need to com-promise, so I don't understand why they don't add onto their home to make room for baby or move Gage's Desk by the other desks and make Gage's office into a nursery. (just a thought). Where there's a Will There's a Way!
My heart just breaks when I see Zoila crying because I can tell that she loves Jeff. He can be a little rude sometimes. People please love and respect your elders!!!
Gage is a great foil for Jeff. He is cautious and careful and rather than operating on gut instinct, he collects the data and proceeds from there. He's handsome, and definitely deserves respect. He's a great complement to Jeff!
Andrew is funny and add to Flipping OUt. i think Gage is way too low-keyed and not interesting.. But Andrew keeps the funny in the show and has a mysterious side to him. I like watching Andrew. I want Jeff to work on my house, Please!
Jeff, I love your show!! You and Jenni did such a great job on your other show, the that you stay with the family:). HAd so much fun watching... Love " flipping out ", but with that said:). I am telling you the truth....Gage needs to go...from an outsider looking in, he isn't for you....trust us!
seriously , I think jeff should marry jennie!!! Gage is way too lazy and boring!! YES, I KNOW JENNIE'S GETTING MARRIED AND JEFF IS GAY BUT TOO BAD!!! JEFF'S TOO NICE AND GOOD LOOKING TO BE GAY!
Jeff~ That was so kind of you to give Andrew a second chance. Gage is the one who needs to go. What a buzz kill he is.
@kgudrun I disagree, This was a time when Jeff should have listened to Gage...giving Andrew another chance made the week before the finale pretty bogus and contrived to get ratings.. Why would you give an employee you clearly do not know at all, a second chance after some pretty serious lying went on...by serious I mean not giving a correct place to be located...for all Jeff knew by Andrew doing this could have meant Andrew was planning some major act of theft or sabotage, and skipping out without so much as an arrest warrant for such crime because of giving a fake address and maybe name as well? That scenario that played out made the show look very fake and scripted...based on Jeffs continued stance on trustworthiness and honesty...for all he knew, this guy could have been a plant by a gossip rag magazine trying to get some dirt they could use... The whole "who is Andrew" this season just took this show to a level of disbelief...and the loss of Monkey saved this show because we saw a piece of raw reality footage that we all knew was real...and their pain.... I would absolutely not trust anyone who changed their story as much as Andrew and cannot believe and refuse to believe that Jeff Lewis would alliw anyone in that office without background check and references...he has high profile client info he has to protect, and cannot trust a competitor from stealing client lists with details of their personal information regarding their homes...No, the idea of Andrew doesn't fly with me...Bravo messed up on this one... What is with Andrews inappropriateness with people? He is trying to be another version of Jeff but its not working....
@petercwillis Background checks are not always reliable in these days of privacy and leaking of personal info...does anyone else feel a little duped this season with Andrews appearance? I do,,,because of the rant we heard from Jeff about Jenni's trip to the clients vaca house...if he was a stickler for that honesty at all costs, why would he overlook Andrews very huge omissions and lying, and not Jenni's omission of telling him about the trip...it just doesn't fit well with me....i as a viewer think Jeff Lewis is an intensely wonderful person under much shielding and personality armor....we see him weep losing his cat, and we realize, this is a man who has a great capacity for love, but there is this bravado that is his exterior....so, I get that he would give an employee a break, but I believe the fake address is a huge sign of not only dishonesty, but could indicate ill intent...we know this is a tv show, so perhaps, there is more staging than we are led to believe....if Andrew is truly an employee of Jeffs, he needs to worry about his sexual harassment of the straight contractors....or he might be facing a lawsiut....i have been on the receiving end of comments that were inappropriate and can say it is a violation that is like no other and it is not a joke....
