Anyone with curls can attest to the fact that they are hard to manage. In fact, getting glossy, tight curls that are neither frizzy nor crunchy is nearly impossible. Edelstein, however, has the right idea.
"I don't put anything in my hair," she says. "I keep it really simple." So all those sprays, serums, and leave-in creams? Nope! The one product Edelstein does enjoy is a cleansing conditioner that doesn't strip her hair. Ouidad Curl Co-Wash and Grow Gorgeous Cleansing Conditioner are both great options for keeping curls hydrated.
And when it comes to unruly coils, Edelstein depends on a double-pronged curling iron to mimic her hair's natural zig-zag pattern.
For everyday styling, though, the actress admits to letting her pillow do all the work.
"The fun thing with curly hair is if you wash your hair at night and you go to bed with a wet head in the morning, you've got really great curls, because they've just been sort of pressed into the pillow all night long."
Here's hoping a low-maintenance hair regimen really is the beauty secret we've all been waiting for!
