Ariana Grande has had a real rollercoaster of a year, from the death of her former boyfriend, rapper Mac Miller, to the public breakup with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson, not to mention processing the loss of multiple fans' lives as the result of a terrorist attack on her Manchester concert in 2017. With so much happening in such a short time, it might feel to her like everything is upside down, which might go some ways towards explaining why the pop singer shared on Instagram that she has hung her current Christmas tree from the ceiling, trunk first.
While we've never seen an upside down Christmas tree before (even though, according to Vanity Fair, it's an old Slavic tradition), here's hoping Ariana's isn't the last, because we're actually really into it. One question though: Where do the presents go?
