Conrad Empson Has Babyface Problems

Conrad Empson served as the babyfaced bosun for the yachting crew on Season 3 of Below Deck Mediterraneanbut he has since started a new business venture on dry land: flipping houses. He's documenting his new career with a weekly YouTube series called Conrad Renovates that launched this week.

While buying, renovating, and selling houses doesn't sound like a natural extension from yacht life, turns out that Conrad is following in his dad's footsteps now.

"What I admired about you when you came on the boat is you talked about how you didn't want to be in yachting, that you wanted to do what your father did. You want to work in yachting to make enough money to go out and buy houses and renovate them, and that, to me, is wow, he has a plan," Captain Sandy Yawn told him on the Below Deck Med Season 3 reunion. "At 23, that's amazing."

He discovered right away that this line of work isn't easy: The first episode of Conrad Renovates, which finds him flying to New York to make his very first buy, is called "Conrad's Rude Renovation Awakening!" In it, he crashes in an AirBnB boat, enters the "door of Hell" and basically gets thrown into the deep end of his new career.

Did he make the right job switch? Check out the first episode of Conrad Renovates, below.
