Danny DeVito

Danny DeVito has been acting for almost 40 years. He has added writer, producer, and director to his resume since his debut on the theater scene in 1969. DeVito started out with roles in obscure films like Dreams of Glass and Hurry Up, Or I'll Be 30 and eventually got a substantial part in the 1975 Oscar winning One Flew Over the Cookoos Nest. He didn't get his really big break until he was cast as Louie De Palma in the hit series, "Taxi."

Since then, he has appeared in over 40 films. He has directed movies such as Matilda and War of the Roses, and has produced over 30 hits, including Garden State and Erin Brockovich.

In 2005 he embarked on a daring new project, a role in the quirky FX series "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." The show became a success largely in part to DeVito's comedic contribution. Look forward to seeing him in the upcoming films Solitary Man and When in Rome.
