Jeff explains what inspired him to do the show.

Thank you for checking out Interior Therapy. I appreciate all of your comments (well most of them). I want to be clear, this new show is not replacing Flipping Out. It is a second show intended to entertain loyal Bravo viewers in the interim. Flipping Out is a true documentary that takes half the year to film. We are very limited to how many episodes we can generate. What drew me to the Interior Therapy concept was the idea of a "mad dash" remodel that could be done in just five days. It allows Jenni and me the ability to shoot ten episodes in just ten weeks. By the way, I'm also helping people (or at least trying to).

I realize the structure of the show has some challenges and it needs some tweaks, but it does have tremendous potential. I appreciate your constructive criticism, and trust me I'm listening. I am a perfectionist, and I want this show to be everything you expect it to be. It will get better, it just might take a season to perfect. In the meantime, keep commenting. Good or bad, I can handle it.

-Jeff

I just want to know what brand of shirts you wear the most?  You always look fantastic and there was a particular dark gray shirt you wore on the "goth" episode of Interior Therapy...

what i didn't like (and i haven't seen all the shows) is how often jenni was the one working her butt off, working til late at night, while jeff played around, then he took credit for the work and didn't credit her. guessing the grand concept re the design is jeff's but didn't see much of how he decided on the design each time.

I like you soooo much.I watch your show all the time and I wished you did some work for just regular  ordinary middle class families and not only rich and famous people!

I absolutely love Jeff and the show. Jenny is great  too.  Just wanted to know if Jeff is still with his boyfriend? I don't hear anything about him anymore. Glad to see Andrew is still with you.

Hi Jeff - I would love to have our home featured on "Interior Therapy".  My husband and I purchased a foreclosure on Naples Island (Long Beach, CA) in December 2010.  We worked with an architect and completely reconfigured the home.   Loving it....however, we have not completed the finishing touches and would absolutely be thrilled to get your help!  Areas that would benefit from Jeff Lewis include window coverings, art work, furniture choices AND our roof-top deck.  Help!!  We both love your style and our ready to complete our home!

Jeff, if you fire Jenni the show will be cancelled.  You are bland and boring.  Your partner is making you fire every employee you have.  He is going to be your downfall as far as the show is concerned.  Your maid and Jenni are the show - not you!  DON"T FORGET THAT!

I love love love your show. I dream of getting you in my house where I can make you and your assistant Jenni my great cocktails , scratch your brain for decor and enjoy your criticism. My BF and i moved in together 4 months ago and we need all the help we can get . .  looking forward to seeing all your episodes.

You are remarkable, Jeff. You have such great insight, depth and resolutions for the people you represent. Too bad you are not a full-fledged shrink. You and Jeni are a team that is original and one that complements each of your personalities but giving insight to each other while creating an environment for the clients that will best improve their lives and lifestyle! I can't say enough about you guys. Zoila is a diversion to the chaos but even if she weren't there you and Jeni are so unique and talented and hardworking and tolerent that it doesn't really matter. So now enough of my adjectives already......I luv you both.....when will you be back and if Bravo has some thoughts of otherwise, I will follow the lineup where you will be as I am a forever loyal fan. I even enjoy the reruns. Thank you .... and god bless!

Jeff, love the shows. I enjoy your wit (sarcasm?) and that of Jen and Zoila too!

I was wondering if you could tell me more about the fountain that you installed in the last episode of Interior Therapy. I really love it.

Jeff, I think most people just enjoy watching you whatever show you're on (especially in combination with Jenni & Zoila), and are amazed by your design vision. You could be on The Real Housewives of BH and we'd all tune in.

Love the show, looking forward to a new Flipping Out. Although, I still find myself cracking up over "Can rich people be hoarders? I don't know...," and you putting one client's dirty underwear on Jenni's head and spraying Zoila down with another client's perfume for "bad behavior." Priceless.

(Seriously though, why doesn't BRAVO add a same-sex couple to one of "The Real Housewives" franchises? I can imagine Gabe's wheel's turning already... all my best :)

Hi Jeff, Just wanted to let you know that I love your show too! You have put together a great staff of workers to help you. Love the way that you relate to the people asking for your help. Really good television and design. Thanks.

Jeff, love your new show, but I knew I would. I appreciate the quality and dedication that you put into the show. There is so much garbage programming on TV nowadays, so it's nice to tune into a mature, mentally stimulating show. Your designs are awesome! Keep on doing great things, your fans are anxious to see what's next.

I love this show. In fact I much prefer it to Flipping Out. It's amazing to see you read people and you often nail the underlying dynamic that is being reflected in their chaotic homes and unhappy relationships. Honestly, I find the emotional intelligence that you portray on this show so much more appealing than the narcissistic taskmaster exterior you show on Flipping Out. Your friendship with Jenny and your brother/sister dynamic is also really appreciated, not to mention your remodels are ridiculously beautiful, as always. Please keep this show going. It has quickly become my favorite!

Love your designs! It would be great if you could have Bravo list the paint colors and other design specifics on the web page somewhere, for those of us who are not so naturally talented. Thanks!

While I think you do some great work, at times I find that you sacrifice timeless elegance for modern kitsch. As an example- the before dining room in "Design Bully" looked pretty decent- it was elegant and would stand the test of time. Twenty years from now it would still "fit" and was a warm, inviting room to have friends over for a meal.

Reminds me of the 70's, when people replaced classic furniture for moulded plastic and shades or orange and brown.

Jeff, my husband and I are absolutely entertained and also wowed by your shows. We appreciate the effort it takes to do what you do and I must say, I stalk your shows to make sure I never miss the new season(s). We love your style both how you design homes and how you work with difficult people. I always say to my husband, "I wish Jeff was someone in our everyday lives" simply because you have fantastic ideas, funny comments, playfulness, and sarcasm that I totally get but you also have the business sense to round things out. We love what you do and welcome you to Buffalo, NY anytime. Mi casa, su casa! Oh and bring Jenni and Zoila too. Kisses to ur doggies from me...

Hey Jeff....Love your show and you of course (I mean what's not to right). Say think you could make a trip to Wyoming??? I have a home that really needs your help and think it would be cool for you, Jenni and Zoila to visit the wild west and all our Cowboys (Zoila would love them) and did I mention I only live 50 miles from Yellowstone Park. Oh yes, we just got indoor plumbing so you wouldn't have to worry about that. Give it a thought and keep on styling.

Hey Jeff, I am a 51 year old gay male Los Angeleno so it kinda goes without saying I'm a longtime "Flipping Out" watcher/fan. But I really, really love the new show (maybe even more?) and already feel a void now that it's over in the blink of an eye! I feel like a kindred design spirit with you as you always say what I've just yelled at the people onscreen about their design choices (or lack thereof!) It is a testimonial to you and the show that my 24 year old straight male roommate who only watches ESPN wandered in while I was watching the 2nd episode and sat down and finished watching with me. The next week he asked if I had recorded "that design show", so we watched the next episode too. That was it, he got hooked along with me and we just watched the season finale today. Love getting to see a project from start to finish in one hour and done in 5 days. It is quite inspiring and the chemistry between you and Jenni and Zoila and the clients is so entertaining and hilarious. I always say to my roommate, "I want to have dinner and drinks with them!" Look forward to the return of "Flipping Out" and the next season of "Interior Therapy". Be well!

PaulainVA

I have thoroughly enjoyed the new show, and am a little sad that the season is already over. Have always enjoyed you, Jenni, Zoila and the revolving gang of crazies at JL Design. The best thing about Interior Therapy is that we get to see an entire design project from beginning to end. As much as I love Flipping Out, we only get to see bits and pieces of projects (whatever happened to the place being renovated by the rocker & his wife, for example?). Each episode was truly unique in scope and situation, but your comment that a poorly designed home is an indicator of a larger problem proved to be astonishingly accurate. I hope this new venture comes back again.

Love your new show Jeff, I find myself laughing out loud, the chemistry really works between you and Jenny. Please come to Michigan if you ever venture out I need help. My husband took a duncan phyfe table and a mahogany leaf table and made one big one. I call it my frankenstein table, when I suggested maybe covering with wood flooring to make it uniform he said to just cover with a table cloth! Like Zoila always says "OMG Jeff!" I also love Flipping Out and miss seeing Gage.

Jeff and Jenni- Such a great show!! It's my new favorite thing to watch on TV! When I get a chance to be alone (2 kids and husband) I watch an episode...or two! I the design aspect (you guys are awesome), I love that you are helping people, I love that you have cocktails, and I love that it makes me laugh! Come and re-do my house....I promise good food and good drinks!

Love you Jeff! You remind me so much of my younger brother who lives up in Los Gatos. Sadly, he doesn't even know who you are, as he "doesn't watch TV"e xcept for TMC). I really like the new show but no way do you stay at the clients homes. I know it would freak you out!

Hey Jeff! Bravo never posts my comments, but I'll try again anyway. I absolutely LOVE this show, and I SO admire you and your "trueness" - if that's even a word. You are very honest with yourself, along with being honest with everyone else. I also love your interaction with Jenny, and I'm so glad she decided to stay with you. She's a perfect balance for you. I do have one question, though. Do you only do million dollar homes? Cuz I could REALLY use you!!!!! Love the show!

Hi Jeff,

Love the show - When will you be coming out with a book to help us all?? I need help figuring out how to do my own house - After many bad design decisions I have finally picked a good color for my walls - but I can not wait another 12 years for my next good design decision - I need HELP and I LOVE your interiors!!

PS I have oak woodwork - I am hoping you will sometime design for a home with stained woodwork instead of painted...

How do we apply to have you come to our house , you would have fun with my house. I moved to Colorado to help my mom out after my Dad died and my bedroom has a washer and drier in it and my livingroom still has paneling, can you believe it. We keep talking about remodeling, but haven't done it. We need your help because we just don't know what to do. Besides the fact that we have a radon gas problem in the basement where I live. Yikes. So, how do we apply to be on your show?

I'm enjoying the show and like the pieces selected for the remodels. It would be nice to see what paint colors, finishes, tile, etc were selected, as well as listing the make/manufacturer for the furniture pieces. Just an idea....

Jeff, you are amazing. I love your design aesthetic...it's a work of art. I enjoy the new show, but it appears to very painstaking @ times. It's a good thing you have your trusted friend/sidekick/assistant, Jenni there to help you.

One question...is the cost of the renovation paid the homeowners?

Looking forward to the next season of "Flipping Out". You really are a softie and admired by so many. :o)

@edtuo Well, she gets paid pretty good for what she does.  I think he is the best designer I have ever seen. He is a very good and generous person, if you watch the show all the time you will see that. He cares about people. I will watch him anytime he is on. I wish he was on every day.....also, a bosses position is basically to delegate the work, not always do it himself. That's why he is the boss.....
