Hey, thanks for watching. I hope you liked it. And if not, please don't tell me. This is all kind of weird for me, but I'm just going to go with it, OK? I'm normally a private person, although I'm sure that seems very hard to believe now. I never wanted to be in front of the camera and have always worked behind the scenes as a writer. But sometimes in life we decide to do things that we never thought we would because they scare us or because we just feel like taking a chance. I'm a strong believer in feeling free to change your mind about anything.
I did this show because I'm very proud of Brad and how hard he's worked at achieving his dreams. I'm also proud of the relationship that we've had now for over ten years (and I wanted to see my dogs on TV). I don't know what this will all add up to, I'm watching it along with you, but I do know that I'm happy I did it. Again, though, if you see above paragraph, I could change my mind about that.
Brad mentioned in his blog that you love "OLTL." i watched it religiously in the 80s---- my fave storyline of all time was Greg & Jenny. Those were the days! I really enjoyed the show last night. You and Brad seem normal! And so supportive of each other. Thank you for opening up your lives for us to see!
I absolutely adore you!!!! You kept me laughing throughout the entire show! You and brad are have great chemistry! Can't wait for the next episode!
just knew you had to be fabulous. and you didn't disappoint. 10 years? that's like 70 in west hollywood, right? love the brad. love you too! hope the show is a huge success.
I think it would be hard to put your personal life in front of the world. Kind of brave for a private person. I thought you came across very genuine and I wish both of you nothing but success and happiness.
p.s. Love the dogs!
You guys are such a nice couple! I enjoy a lot watching the first episode and can't wait for the next one! Cheers!
Gary!!!!! I have been thinking of you like crazy lately and was just flipping channels while housesitting in Hawaii and voila!!! There you were! Jasper is a STAR and so are you!!! Was sooooo fun to see you!!! You look amazing and Brad is adorbs....funny, there So fun to virtually catch up...much success and congratulations!!!!
I loved when you said, "the boxes are creeping into every open space" get used to owning your own business. If you want Brad around, you will need a bigger place with space for the business.
I LOVE BRAD, which is why I was looking forward to watching the show but after seeing the premiere I want to watch it even more because of you. I love seeing you guys together! Great dynamic! Not to mention quite funny.
Dear Gary,
I am so glad you decided to do this show, you might end up being my favorite Bravolebrity (and I love me some Brad)! I don't find many people funny, but you are hysterical. I checked out your twitter and almost died laughing.
Love, Your newest fan.
It seems you are much older than Brad. What is the age difference? It seems he is about to support you. You should be more gracious. I'm thinking it's a 20 yr age difference.
Jrho...Greg and Jenny was All My Children. Clint and Vicki was OLTL. Not as religious as you thought. Love Brad and Gary the best!
Gary! I love the show...love your BF...love your twisted humor...and follow you on twitter, where you consistently make my day by making me laugh! xo JB
Gary... I just love you...Its not about waiting for the storm to pass. It is learning to dance in the rain!!!!
To Sheila Lienemann: lol! You are so right! I meant to say Jake (Joe Lando) & Megan (jessica Tuck)! Oops! And it was in 1992!
You two are so handsome and adorable! Loved your sweet, easy way of being together, not to mention your too-cute dogs and gorgeous home. Please stay on TV forever!
10 years!!!!!! that's like 70 in west hollywood! you and brad seem like such a great couple. can't wait for the weeks to come!
Hi Gary! I just want to say...I wasnt sure what to think of the gay community...I was raised in a small christian town. but after watching your show, I see that love comes in all different genders, shapes and sizes...I am now able to teach my children, (6 and under) to be open minded about love...and to support everyone...your relationship with Brad makes more sense that most of my married heterosexual friends...I have been so naive!! I am so sorry!! I hope by teaching my children young, it will help...dont ever regret doing the show, for as youve changed my opinion 100%...thanks!! Go Brad!!
I thought Brad was funny. You are an absolute riot. I look forward to watching the two of you this season and your dogs too.
I loved the show, and my favorite part was the two of you kidding on the couch after the US style award, about whether or not an award was coming in the mail. That sounded exactly like a conversation my husband and I would have. I understand your ambivalence putting your personal life out there, but it will probably help Brad's career, and hopefully further general public understanding that gay couples/families are just like all couples/families- except of course you two are much better looking, smarter, funnier and more likable than most of us, lol! Since you gave Brad the good advice about letting it roll off his back what others thought/would say when he lost the Diane job, I bet you are ready to let the garbage this publicity is guaranteed to bring you also roll off your backs. Grain of salt, or decide not to do the next season, just use this as a stepping stone. But while you are sharing yourselves with us this way, it is a delight to watch.
Love you Gary! Love Brad, love the dogs, love the show! Nice to see a strong, loving, suuportive couple on tv.
