A flight that had already left LAX for Tokyo — and was more than four hours into the journey — was forced to return to LAX on Tuesday night. The problem, it seemed, was an unauthorized passenger aboard. So after more than eight hours, the flight returned to Los Angeles where authorities managed the situation. If the flight had gone straight through to Tokyo, it would have taken about 11 hours.
Oh, and fun fact about the bizarre ordeal: Chrissy Teigen and John Legend were onboard, and you know Chrissy live tweeted the whole thing.
So yes, that's an LAX to LAX nonstop flight that clocked in at eight hours 20 minutes.
And because she's well-known fun-haver Chrissy Teigen, the expecting mama had by her own admission at least a little fun with the whole ordeal too.
But as of this publishing, Chrissy was determined to get to the bottom of things.
