Did Harvey Weinstein Travel to Los Angeles for the Golden Globes?

Actresses Rosanna Arquette and Ellen Barkin contributed to rumors he was in California.

Embattled film exec Harvey Weinstein caused a new stir in Hollywood this week as rumors swirled he was in town for the Golden Globes; actresses including Rosanna Arquette and Ellen Barkin contributed to the impression that he was in the same hotel where the Golden Globes press events are happening.

But a candid paparazzi photo released Friday shows Weinstein in what is thought to be in a parking lot in Sedona, a city with a population of about 10,000 in Arizona.

He's mostly been there for the past three months, thought to be participating in some form of rehabilitation after explosive allegations of sexual abuse and harassment prompted a sizable movement of victims speaking out.

Sedona is home to an international film festival, annual jazz and bluegrass festivals, and those famously stunning red rocks. Not a bad place to stay relatively off the radar and work on new beginnings.

With or without his physical presence, the Golden Globes will reflect what has come to light regarding Weinstein and others against whom serious allegation have also followed. Attendees are expected to wear all black, and the #MeToo and Time's Up movements will be supported there by presenters including Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston.
