Katie Maloney-Schwartz on Marriage to Tom Schwartz: It's "Pretty Damn Blissful, But It’s Still Work"
The Vanderpump Rules couple offer an update on how they are doing these days.
First comes love, then comes marriage, and sometimes it takes a little work to get that last step just right. That is according to Katie Maloney-Schwartz, who married her longtime love, Tom Schwartz, in August 2016 in front of family, friends and Vanderpump Rules viewers.
“We’re doing amazing. Married life is pretty damn blissful, but it’s still work,” Katie shared with Us Weekly this week. “We still have things that we’re working on and old habits.”
As was previously teased in the Vanderpump Rules season 6 trailer (above), things aren't always perfect between the pair, and Katie noted that “We’re good. It’ll make sense" when it comes to those events.
At a press event last month, Tom also hinted that the twosome are still working out the kinks when it comes to being married. “We’re not happily ever after," he said at the time. “We still have a lot of work to do.”
At the time, Katie also hinted that the pair was considering kids as well. “It’s all part of the big picture,” Katie said. “I think right now, we’re on the brinks of some exciting stuff.” She added, “The future has become less hypothetical and more real. It’s been fun and [exciting] and a lot less scary [than] I thought it would be.”
