Why do we have to go against the Olympics? Doesn’t everyone know that Fashion PR is the new extreme sport? Why is Vorhees still working here? Can’t we say bye bye? I have had enough of her.
Nicolas no “H” Petrou needs a serious reality check on how to make a viable collection. We fired him as our client because he was sooo rude to WWD and he did not pay us the balance for his show.
We finally deliver Agent Provocateur Soiree – there were no candles or the right bird cages because there was no money in the budget – nevertheless , the girls look amazing. I need to go – did you see George Wayne aka the crystal swallower from last week? Ha!!!!
One of my favorite moments - my favorite all time television moment to date is Michelle’s synchronized gum chewing – that was the ultimate hysterical moment for me. I mean, come on!!!
Please fire Vorhees immediately!!! Her babbling BS and excuses are driving me crazy!!! I listen to her and am like..."Listen girlie I don't want to hear about the labor - just show me the baby!!" She need to get it together or go away!!!
Tonight was the first time I saw your show... noticed your logo and then saw the photos of the Mother and Sri Aurobindo in the footage of your NY office. I was surprised, in a pleasant way. Who knows, may be I have run into you in Pondicherry. I wish you good luck with your work, and your beautiful daughter. :)

Kell...
Vorhees is an absolute mess. She needs to go back home and be taught the basic simple things in life, like how to accept responsibility and DO HER WORK....
As a my co-worker always says...."Keep it Movin'"
Kelly, I think you are amazing. I admire your strong work ethic and think you are a great mother. As a woman in my 40's with a young child, I know how difficult it can be to have a career as well. I love your show!!
Kelly, I just want you to know that I wish all my past bosses were like you. They were passive and never got anything done. You are an amazing boss and I wish I could work for you. I am from a small town in the south so it's a lot different! I think you run a great business and I love watching the show! Best of luck in everything!
Abby
This episode was highly entertaining and gave more of a view into the fashion world...no surprise that budgets are stretched and designers out for what they can get, but Petrou's boorishness was over the top. I enjoyed the humanizing glimpses into Kell's life, like the astonishing Coco coincidence..I suppose PETA will now weigh in on the perils of animal 'adoption'.
What I really enjoyed was Kell's soliloquys on the nature of lovely young female bodies and the wealth of 19 year old boys in her environment. When a woman hits a certain maturity and takes on that ability to philosophically view 'kids' in a non-competitive and nurturing way, w/o losing her own edge, it is a mark of a well- balanced ego. I don't think Ms Cutrone is at all in dotage mode - she just knows what side of the game she stills wins in. But by all means, end the Stephanie V. sidebar asap and fire the poor dead - it is becoming painful and while viewer tastes may run savage, there is no glory in prolonging the bloodlust.
I am a straight guy and caught your show and I thought I wasn't going to like it cause its about fashion and stuff, but I actually got a lot out of it. As a manager myself (only 26) dealing with young people who have no clue on what their doing I seriously relate with Emily and her issues with Voorhees. Spelling and mailing envelopes is so easy that a 10 year old can do it. Emily is awesome. I hope she doesn't go to her cool apt. alone all the time.
Oh and I agree with you. People better pay for services and you were so right to go all litigious on that little klepto. I have an idea next time call OSHA on his ass. I think its against the law to suffocate people. Just sayin'
Hi Kell,
Your work ethic combined with motherhood are absolutely amazing! As the only daughter of a single-mother, I wished my mom could have been more involved in my life but i also understand that she did the best she could with what she had.
Furthermore, I wonder how your interns would do after putting them through military boot camp? You treat your interns toooo good and actually they should be held more accountable for their mistakes. Simple apologies don't cut it in the real world. Make a mistake - run a mile or do fifty push-ups, that's what I had to do and I am very girlie!
Besides, attention to detail is absolute in the military world, my entire military career rode on that fact!
Why during Fashion Week in September was Emily busy posting and chatting on her Facebook? Shouldn't she have been working? Better watch her or dock her pay.
You should fire Stephanie V. She doesn't fit in at PR. She's too pretty for reality tv. Get some more unattractive people to do the work.
Where is Whitney Port? LOL! Also - I m sure u already do this BUT get your clients TO SIGN a payment agreement b4 ur services are complete! Love the show - I m hooked!
I love your show!!! I can't wait to see more. I loved you on The Hills. You are refreshing, don't change!
Kelly –
I love your show and it is amazing and shows the world what it takes to represent a fashion client like yours. You commitment to raise your daughter and to run a successful business is inspirational. Your beliefs and karmic way of life is refreshing and needed in the world. Your show has struck a chord in me to find a job that allows me to be more creative and to be who I am. (Which I’m finding is not a corporate suit) The crystal swallower was hilarious I laughed for sometime then had to rewind and watch again. It is now in my need a laugh file.
Cheers! Lee
LOVE U AND UR DAUGHTER AVA! The show is fabulous. I can't believe what goes on behind the scenes. Kudos to you and the fab staff! Keep on Cutrone! YOU ROCK!
The Olympics are on? I hadn't noticed. If you are on TV, I am watching Bravo. Enough said. (Well, except I'll add the obvious and say it's time for you to tell Miss Voorhes to pack her stamps snd go.)
I just want to say I think your show is awesome! I really am not very fashion savvy... But I really think I could do Stephanie Vorheese's job... For the love of all that is Holy! It's a stamp!? Um Vorheese, Anthopologie called, they want their greeter back!
I've watch u on "The City" and now ur show. If you would hire experienced people, many of ur problems on the show would be minimal. If you cannot afford to hire experience people and continue to hire interns, then train them properly and stop acting like u and ur partners are the only competent individuals. Ur company issues are based on lack of training and experience people. I do love ur daughter!
I was pleasantly surprised by the show ... more insightful and less, um, catty? than I thought it would be. I liked what you said about one aspect of a career being the process of finding out what you DON'T want to do. Most managers know not to let a bad hire drag on for too long. And probably if it weren't for the tv drama, bad hires wouldn't last too long at PR either. My motto: education is never a waste!
I have to say that I love your show and you! I loved you in The Hills and felt like screaming "Yes, finally someone else out there like me!" I know you get this a lot but I would love to work with you, that is if I did not live in Arizona and have a 1 year old. I can always telecommute! HA :) Keep rockin!
From what I've seen I find myself sympathetic towards Vorhees. She seems like a really good kid who isn't doing so well in the sink or swim environment @ People's Rev. I think they did hire her for a more senior position than her qualifacations allow and she would probably have better been suited for an asst position.
Other than that I am obsessed w/ Kell On Earth, am waiting on Kelly's book to arrive and can't wait to read it!
P.S. - Have any job openings??
PLEASE FIRE STEPHANIE V...she has the same excuse everytime she screws up...and that seems to be all the time...and we had the stamp issue again...I don't think I can hear "I'm Sorry, I made a mistake" again. You are so funny with the "boy model's"....And when you and your daughter went for a walk and saw your dog you had to give away was just crazy....Are you going to ask for doggy visits...lol....Love Love your show...:)
Hi! I happen to NOT be a 20 - 35 year old. But I loved The Hlls and The City. You were an energy ball and the most outspoken person I'd seen in awhile. You tell it like it is without being rude. You work your butt off, and look at the results! I knew we'd see more of you after seeing you on the other reality shows. You stood out. Good for you Kelli!!! You are the perfect mentor for young girls everwhere.
Jeans and underwear. How cute. When do the shows for your real designer clients Prada, Coco Chanel, Gucci, and Versace start?
KELLY!!!! You are one of the most amazing human beings on the planet! As a young woman and Entrepreneur, you have become such an inspiration to me. I ran out yesterday and bought your book, and I'm already on chapter 7. I have to say, you had me at chapter 1 with the yellow brick road, I live in Wichita, KS...need we say more? Thank you for being so real, thank you for being so honest. I'm so glad BRAVO has brought you to all of us!
P.S. Vorhees needs to go, pronto. So irritating with all the apologies. Really?!?!
I always thought Public relations was about meeting with editors to get magazine placements. Boy was I wrong. It seems more like event planning. Since everything is so last minute with the fashion shows, you must be busy all year. Are you planning birthday parties and weddings during the fashion slow season?
If SV says sorry one more time....ughhh. That girl has no common sense! I am anticipating the axe every week. Fire her! Overall, I love this show. The energy, the people and the madness! Greatness!
Kelly-Love love love the show! You were the only reason I watched The Hills and now we get a whole hour of you. You are amazing and I love seeing you swoop in to solve the problems. Can't wait for the next episode!
Your show rocks, I thought that I wouldn't get into the show, one show and I'm hooked. I love how your aggressive, tough as nails but truly kind at heart. Also love your relationship with your daughter. Rock on Kell !!!!!
Kell, You Rock. Seriously. Love your honesty, your attitude & your humor. From a far you come off as a biatch, but you are seriously one of the most down to earth people and the fact that you can be that in New York is even more amazing. If you ever move to Ohio you will be my new BFF. Good luck to you and thanks for doing the show, it is a blast to watch.
HI everyone - we need to boycott the Olympics - sure they are on NBC but hey - we need to draw a line - fashion week is the new extreme sport and we need to get a grass roots movement going for more - Kell-O!!! I am reading all of your posts and agree that some people need to get fired - like - yesterday !
I have my own biz and am my only employee. But I can't wait to say "Get the f*ck out of my office" to my first employee who deserves it like you did on The Hills. No malice - you just said what you felt, how you felt. Hot damn, how refreshing.
And thanks for keeping it real and showing that most work is 80% grunt and 20% glam.
Congrats on your well deserved success.
Kelly Kelly ! I watched two episodes...fell in love with it all and just ordered your book ! I am THE ONE who is looking to reinvent herself !!!
With two kids 5 and 3...it's time to get back out there...with honesty, truth, no bull and do my best without selling out ! Too bad I didn't know you back when ! HAA
Kick ass sista ! It's all about you !!!!
hi i am unemployed iowa farmboy going thu hulu shows and found yours. I have no interest in your industry but you are strong, hot chick
Kelly, You represent the absolute nadir in reality tv and public relations. I know that soon the spotlight will shine on you and you will get all the attention you deserve. My Tarot card reader agrees.
Kelly,
I love your show and love how you do business! I love to see strong women in business! As for Vorhees, she's a kid in need of some direction and training - no need to fire her - take the opportunity to cultivate her into what you need and want. What can I say - I'm a mom of 4 grown children (3 girls and 1 boy) and some young people need more direction than others.
By the way, your daughter is absolutely adorable and you're a wonderful mommy! I look forward to watching the upcoming episodes!
Thank you Kelly. I was so depressed over my life my job situation, my age 51, It was was of those things that you would have said "take it outside"...BooHoo Get over it already...then I watched you and your show the first day it was on...I know it sounds corny, but watching you saved my life, I got out of my Oh Poor Me Mode and started getting my s-it together. Thats not what I want my kids to remember about me, I want them to remember what Ava will remember about you. Strong kick ass woman !!! So all these Beotches out here with there Kelly Hater BS for whatever reason can Eat your Dust as you Blow by them All!! Best of luck in ALL you do Kelly ! Change For No one or Nothing!! WooHoo "your the Best" !!
kelly! absolutely love the show. It is now my favorite show and I look forward to all the upcoming episodes! You are hard working, independent, and HILARIOUS. Aboslutely love you! God Bless.
Watching these interns week after week is litterally forcing me to get up from the TV, go into my office and type this. The work ethic (if you can call it that) these people bring to the office is just disgraceful! They should be ashamed. They should actually be fired! I'd be pulling my hair out some days. You go far and above what a manager/owner should have to which I think is great but they still don't seem to 'get it.' To have the opportunity to learn this business in this way is an honor! It's not just a job. They are suppossed to be learning. Has our educational system gone so far down that kids don't know how to learn or gather information if it's not thrown at them. Has anyone learned how to learn?
I'm a professional, young-56 yr old woman who's run several companies and have done management consultant to others. I would work as an intern to you for free.
I owned and event and meeting planning business (and travel agency) in Beverly Hills called "Attention to Detail." Something I'm shocked to see these young people just don't get.
I love to work had. I work until the job is done. I don't go home until the job is done. It's so frustrating watching this crazy work ethic. I took a beating in the stock market last year but I do have a second house up for sale and depending on how much you charge I'D love to intern there.
I'm not a fashion crazy person but I do like a fast, non-stop pace, high energy environmnet. I like fixing things that are broken. I like to think on my own and get things to work more effectively, efficiently - with an there's always a way - attitude.
I'm serious. I have no idea of how much I'd have to pay you but I might get money from the sale of this house. If you'd consider me I'd take a sabbatical from my current job (Presently Director of Charter Sales - chartering private jets) A business that works at a fevered pace, things change constantly, most clients are VIP's and we, as the says, name provide Attention To Detail, Inc.
I promise you my work ethic will never be a problem.
I would be would be so lucky to have the opportunity to work under someone like you. It's who I always wanted to be but never could just quite "get it". My mentors for the most part ended up being men and they didn't put it all together the way you do. That's what I like. Sure, it's not perfect but it's good. It's very good. The home thing, the kid thing (your daughter, she's adorable btw - I'm raising a 15 year old niece right now and rocking it)
That's what I can offer you. A strong work ethic and I don't like lying. No lying. It makes me CRAZY when people like to me and I think you're someone who would really get that.
Anyway, my offer is real (I know it's a long shot but you never know unless you ask, right?) I'll be watching the show (although a little frustrated with the interns!!!)
That Petrou show was funny. I used to be a male model and could relate to the ridicuolousness of the stocking suit things which actually looked kinda cool.
Just so you know, while alot of models say they are straight, alot of us are strays in our early twenties, straight for all intensive purposes but still up for whatever endeavors with other dudes...especially the really hot ones... We even called ourselves stray when we would party too hard together :)
Still, it's so cool to see you care and take a shine to young people. It makes me think of people back in my day who were there to guide me and I didnt realize it at the time, so on behalf of all of us, thanks for being a cool chick.
With love.
It is so painful watching these interns. I think the problem is that these young adults never worked before. When I was teenager in the 80's just about everyone had a job by 16 and most girls worked in offices. Kelly hit the nail on the head when she said her 7 year old daughter could have gotten the gift bags ready and finished properly. My 12 and 8 yr. old daughters help me in my home office with work and different fund raising events etc. and they could definitely, with no doubt, do most of these jobs, work independently and make the right decisions to make it work. It's very hard to depend on others when there is so much to be done. I admire Kelly for the work she does and the dedication to her daughter. I myself have been blessed to be able to do what I have to do without sacrificing my children and my responsibilities to them and as a mother but it is not easy in any sense of the word.
I watched the swallowing of the crystal about 15 times and then sent a text to everyone I knew to please dvr and watch it b/c I needed someone to laugh with...I still laugh out loud thinking about it! I don't know what is funnier that he did it, his reaction, or yours...I can't even too funny! Love it!
Love, love, love your show. I understand how tough it can be in a high energy and stressful work environment. I think you are amazing at they way you handle the crisis....you take control of the situation and redirect the chaos...again, you are awesome. A true leader...those interns can learn so much from you and I hope for their sake that they do...It's refreshing to see a hard working, dedicated and strong female...and yet your daughter is your priority. Bravo to you!!
Gosh Kelly - you are awesome. You remind me of a female boss I had about 10 years ago that everyone hated and/or feared. Reminded me of my older sister, who just told me like it was, very blunt, but helped me develop a thicker skin. I am just now watching the second episode, so don't know the fallout, but since I work in IT, that portion of what went wrong wasn't the interns fault, unless she inadvertently clicked on an incorrect button. It seemed from the footage that the worse scenario was the check in portion, and the big wigs complained, obviously. I love how you handled dealing with Chado, the collection was so beautiful.
I also love that you share your relationship with your daughter. She is a trip and you are a great Mom, but most of all REAL.
Cannot wait to watch the rest of the episodes.

Love you!!!!!!!!!!!!! but write a longer blog next time love the crystal swallower what was up with that? Laughed my pants off!
