Just Another Day at the Rev

Feb 8, 2010It's never a dull moment at the Rev, that is for sure. It was just the continuation of the Chado Ralph Rucci nightmare, which ended quite terribly. It was such a pity, as the collection looked beautiful, as did the show. Nothing like that in the history of my fashion career had ever happened. It was beyond our control and I had to move on and not take this personally, as there was no way this could have been prevented. The best thing to do was focus my energy on the next show that needed my attention. However, there were lots of other dramas that other people were dealing with and so luckily got to witness, but not get dragged into. I mean, the intern situation was absolutely pathetic. Not once, but twice? Who can make the same mistake collectively twice? Are people really that incompetent? I thought Kelly was going to murder all of them as she really did mean war. I definitely knew which interns not trust on any of my upcoming projects. Did they even deserve to be in our office? They were bound to cause more problems than be helpful.
The interns are a work in progress. But they have a herd mentality so it takes a strong leader to make them perform well. Likewise, it takes a weak leader to show their weaknesses. And from where I sit, the junior level staff of Rev needs to step up or get out.
I think you guys need to make a deal with one of the "energy" drink companies...seems because of the long hours you guys work could use a little kick....fire the "interns" start over....lol
The interns were not to blame. It was Voorhies who was incompetent. She was basically an actress and a drama queen playing a role. And not taking charge and doing what she was suppose to do. The only thing she needed to do was to take action of the situation and do it to best of her ability. I am all about action. That is a true winner.
i say the same thing to you i said to Emily: the way you all treated Stephanie V. was unprofessional and nasty. she obviously hadn't been trained properly, and instead of doing that so she could succeed, you chose instead to bash her, and you all continue to bash her. it's getting old.
There is something about how you take control of a situation that comes across as professional and at the same time "don't screw it up or you're gonna get cut!" You also look pretty, even without makeup and no sleep. Ah, to be young again! Love the show and best of luck in the future!
