Are These A-List Celebs Making it OK for Us to Wear PJs to the Airport?

Think negligee, not negligent

Over here at Jet Set, we make it known that we don’t support slovenly airport wardrobe: Sweatpants at the airport are a no, and we prefer our athleisure flats chic and tidy as we speed through security. But lately a slew of top-tier celebs have stepped out in public in their actual pajamas.... and that has us wondering: Are stars are going to change the airport style game? See their sleepwear fashions — along with pieces inspired by them... that we might actually wear en route to our next destination!

1.  Prince George in a Robe

In case you missed the cutest photo in the world, Prince George greeted President Obama in his royal robe right before bedtime.

Want a grown-up version? Opt for this plush Chinti robe ($1,000), fit for any unofficial prince or princess.

2.  Heidi Klum and Prince in Silky Sleepwear

Supermodel and mogul Heidi Klum just stepped out recently to an art opening in a deep V-necked, silk onesie paired with a Dior bag and heels. The late Prince (may his legendary soul rest in peace) also rocked that fierce and fearless nightdress look.

If we had to strut in something similar, this Kelly set ($158) could seriously impress the flight crew on a redeye.

3.  Grace Coddington in Two-Piece PJs

Even Vogue's Grace Coddington donned this silver blue pair to the fashion event of last year at the Met Gala.

If the fashion elite gives the green light, we're onto this pre-approved, vintage Blue Bird one-of-a-kind find ($179).
