"Sometimes my castmates and I would call Vanessa by name, but most of the time we just called her Baby Gaga."

I can’t really comment too much about the episode because I thought the nude “models” were silly. I am all over having a muse and being inspired by the beauty that is the human body, but I thought this one was a bit forced. Thank goodness there is enough drama with the cast. I am glad that Merle finally won a competition, for three reasons. First of all fashion is her profession, she has the knowledge and a great expert; she should do well and the work is proof. Second, this competition means so much to her, she has put a lot of pressure on herself because she expects a lot from herself. And third, because of reasons 1 and 2 she needed this victory to relax. Let me tell you that Merle is a sweet and generous person, but you can see that the little green monster was starting to creep up on her when Louanna, Eric and Kathy had won and she had not. I have been afraid that if she didn’t win something soon, she would start designing to win the week not to create a fabulous line. And even though Merle is a frontrunner, playing to win might lead to a mistake and that would take her out of the competition. Now she might be tougher to beat than ever.

I have the same fear for Marilyn because I think that she believes she should have won a few of the competitions. The expression on her face when she is told that she is safe or another contestant has won tells the story. If she starts to press and try too hard, I am afraid that she will make the kind of mistake that will cause her to fall.
