Stefani tells you what to expect on Launch My Line.

on Dec 2, 20090

It's all happening! In the first 20 minutes of watching LML you have witnessed the creation of the recipe and formula defining each team for as long as they remain in the competition. (And maybe thereafter?). Two total strangers are chosen to collaborate on one vision, harmoniously fusing their individual talents. Can you imagine having to select ALL of the fabrics for an entire line on the "first date?" Challenging? YES! Although, in my opinion, if each team "started at the finish line" during their initial meeting, they had a proper road map to follow.

The overall challenge of building a brand, creating a line (collection) begins (and ends) with VISION. Who is your target customer? How old is she? Is she urban? Suburban? Does she work? What other designers does she wear? Is a celebrity your muse? Why is this brand unique? What's your signature style? How do you want her to feel wearing this line?

When my partner and I conceptualized SCOOP in 1996 our "vision" of building the "ultimate closet" at retail never changed for the 13 years we owned the business, and still today. The consistency of our "message" allowed the business to grow and translate into different markets and genders (14 stores, Mens, Womens + Kid's) - no matter where we opened a store the customer knew "who we were."

I just love Marilyn Crawfords designs. She has not done one that I am not floored by. I want that first dress she designed. I just love that. Keep up the good work Marilyn. I love it!!!!!

I didn't expect to like this show because I am a die hard PR fan. I love, love, love it as does my boyfriend. The end products far outshine anything we have seen on PR and the characters and drama remind me of when PR was at it's best.

Bravo to Marilyn Crawford!! Her design should have definitely won over the draped dress. She is my favorite and I hope to see her to the end.

I would have to agree that Marilyn Crawford is the certified star of the show. Her likeable personality and fierce determination to succeed makes her my favorite out of all the professionals. The fact that Coco went home to sleep and Marilyn was still there working to make sure everything came out great. She definitely killed it....her design was off the hook and definitely should have beat out the other one.

Looking forward to seeing the next episode and I love the line name...LILLY REMARKABLE! I want that dress...

This is a great show with a great concept. I watched the first episode and hands down the star of the show is Marilyn Crawford! The fact that she envisioned that beautiful dress with little effort from her "expert" was incredible! I would buy that dress and several of my friends have commented that they would too! I hope that CoCo won't be a downfall to her...saying she's tired! What? It's a competition..does she want to win or what.

I'm looking forward to next week's show!! Kudos to Marilyn Crawford!! I hope she will be able to Launch HER Line!
