"At times you will question our 'judgment' and may disagree with the outcome. Stay tuned!"

Loved the field trip! I was excited for this week's challenge -- creating a look appropriate for a day at the beach, by spending a day at the beach! Some of the designers translated an inspiration from Venice Beach into international jet-set, while others stayed local in California. There is no wrong path to take as long as you remain true to your brand and vision, and meet the criteria of the challenge.

What began in the design room with the WGSN trend forecasters was "brought to life" from their journey out in the world. True designers draw inspiration from a "bigger universe" than just clothes - art, music, architecture, nature, books, people, food, travel etc..... You know how the episode rolled so I won't recap every moment or dwell on the drama. We have time for that. What I would love for you to keep in mind as the competition unfolds is a few things:  Each designer was presented the opportunity to create a line/brand. It was only the expert they "inherited," the rest was in their hands. Some chose to target a narrow, specific audience and others have broader appeal. We don't have to like or want to wear any of the collections personally in order to be objective. The cohesion of the line will define the customer and hopefully each garment will rise to the challenge and be well executed. At times you will question our "judgment" and may disagree with the outcome. Stay tuned! As the competition evolves you will become part of the brand building process and see who TRULY has the potential to make it in the fashion business.

How did you guys decide who the winner was tonight? That was a tough choice to make both designers produced beautiful garments. Will there ever be an episode where you have two winning designers? If Kevin went home because his design did not make the mark then it should have been a triple elimination! I thought the show was about growth and inspiration for up in coming young designers! What out sells the most in retail and high end stores? Let me guess Patrick and Vanessa's designs. Which designer's garment would you wear to a red carpet event Kevin's Patrick's or Vanessa's?

I agree with Lino. These clothes need to be worn by real women..and that's why I love Marilyn Crawford's line! She has such a beautiful line..I'd buy the first two outfits she's made! Why is her "expert" always so tired? I love your store Scoop, Stefani! I could definitely see both of Marilyn's dresses in your store selling off the racks. I'm looking forward to this weeks show! Keep them coming!

Why oh Why so much drama...my goodness we have enough of that on other shows that deals enough of that...this should truly be about the designers ideas and the expert should help them, that is why they were given one...right..love the show just lets get on with designing and not drama.....R

Okay, how do I get on this show? I have so many ideas in my head that I want to see happen. I have sewed since I was a child, but have had to work in the medical field and could not live my dreams. Can you make it happen?

Congratulations, what an excellent show...great concept and love that their are two sharp retailers there too! At the end of the day the designers have to realise that clothes need to be worn by real women, they are not costumes so Bravo to having you there Stefani. I'm a huge fan of your store Scoop... cheers.
