Anna Faris Wore Uggs to a Wedding — And She Totally Made It Work

Footwear for outdoor weddings can be tricky — you know that if you've ever worn cute heels that immediately sank into a grass lawn. But actress Anna Faris didn't go the wedges or flats route when she officiated her good friend's wedding this past weekend. Instead, she went with a pair of very cozy Ugg boots — and she's making this look work somehow. 

Faris posted too-sweet photos from the ceremony, where she did the honors for her friend and co-host of the Anna Faris Is Unqualified podcast Sim Sarna and his new wife Amy. The wedding happened at the Thomas George Estates in Healdsburg, California, and it must've been a bit chilly since the bride covered up with a fuzzy stole.

In the pics, Faris wore a pretty blazer and dress combo in dusty pink that looked perfect for her role as officiant — so perfect, maybe no one noticed her snow-ready boots. Although the commenters on Faris's Instagram were into it: "Annnd she’s wearing uggs because they’re freaking comfortable!"

Uggs as formal wear: it's a genius move, if the bride lets you get away with it!
