Jennifer Lopez and Erika Girardi Prove This Hairstyle Is December's Hottest Look
All we want for Christmas is some extra hair length.
When two of our beauty muses wear the same hairstyle, we're prepared to call that look a major trend. So, when we caught a glimpse of Jennifer Lopez rocking the same type of deliciously long braid that Erika Girardi recently wore on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, we made a mental note: Elsa-style braids will be big in 2018. And, they're obviously the best style to rock for the rest of the holiday season. First, let's review the snaps of the gorgeous coifs.
J.Lo's hairstylist, Chris Appleton, posted the below look to Instagram on December 20. Referencing Lopez's slicked back, mile-long braid, the stylist insisted that "wet look braids" are "a must." You'll hear no argument from us on that!
Though Lopez didn't wear any teeny snowmen in her hair (not this time, at least), her look reminded us of the Erika Girardi appearance that made our wildest Christmas dreams come true. Remember this?
Based on these looks alone, we're already scheming up ways to get some extra lengths in our manes, stat. (Suddenly, hair extensions seem like a very, very good idea.)
Mark our words: While the lob has been on top of the celebrity-hairstyle world for some time, its day in the sun may be grinding to a halt.
