Kerry Washington is notoriously private about her personal life, and who can blame her? But, when it comes to exposing the glam squad behind her famously arresting red carpet style, the star is an open book.
And, Washington happily used her social media platform to tag each and every person who helped her look this stunning — and crafted that soft, natural hairdo — at the January 15 NAACP Image Awards.
Working with stylist Joseph Cassell Falconer, the Scandal actress honored the all-black dress code that's been sweeping the awards season in a Michael Kors gown. Her edgy jewelry from Atelier Tasaki x Prabal Gurung featured a hand cuff dripping in white gold and pearls.
"Truth be told, this bold piece was the inspiration behind my whole #ImageAwards look last night," Washington said of the bejeweled accessory.
And then, there was Washington's full, lustrous head of curls. Letting her gorgeously textured hair spill down her back, the mom of two let her natural beauty show. Stylist Takisha Sturdivant-Drew put the finishing touches on the actress' ebony locks, which she pulled back to let Washington's waterfall earrings peep through.
This look is award-worthy on its own, wouldn't you say?
