These Designer Thigh-High Uggs from Paris Fashion Week Will Haunt Your Dreams

Please no.

You either love or hate an Ugg boot. There's no way around it: Some people have been hating on Uggs since Britney Spears wore them with a denim miniskirt. On the other hand, Ugg fans (Anna Faris is one!) point out that the sheepskin-lined boots are next-level comfy.

But there may be one Ugg boot that perhaps everyone can agree is a monstrosity. Avant-garde French label Y/Project just collaborated with Ugg to create a very scary thigh-high version of the boot that marched down the runway in Paris yesterday, Fashionista reports.

It's so slouchy, it looks like it's swallowing this model's legs. Plus, how does one even walk while wearing these? That's the best thing about Uggs, that they're easy to wear while running around town or catch a plane.

"By reworking the Classic boot with a typical Y/Project twist such as the triple overlaps and the extra-long legs we want to celebrate the UGG brand's unique history,"  designer Glenn Martens said in a press release as an attempt to explain these boots. On the positive side, this look is probably very cozy. But unlike the grandpa-esque Balenciaga sneakers beloved by influencers like Bella Hadid, we're praying this is one ugly shoe that doesn't catch on.
