We're Pretty Sure Reese Witherspoon's Long Lost Twin Is Miss Ireland

So, this is what Elle Woods would look like in a pageant.

Everyone loves a Reese Witherspoon doppelgänger, which accounts (in part) for the Internet's fascination with Ava Phillippe. (Seriously, though: could Reese's 18-year-old daughter look any more like her?) But, there's a new lookalike in town. And though she's not related to the Big Little Lies star, we're pretty convinced that Irish beauty queen Cailín Áine Ní Toibín is the third cousin Witherspoon never knew about.

The 23-year-old caught our eye during the 2017 Miss Universe Pageant, where she appeared wearing a sparkling pink gown that we could totally see on Elle Woods. But, it wasn't only the glittering look that channeled the actress.

Just take a look at the beauty queen's blonde mane, heart-shaped face, and megawatt smile, and try not to have visions of Sweet Home Alabama.

We weren't the only ones who did a double take. Twitter user Nicole Stankov summed up scores of social-media reactions when she put it out there: This beauty queen basically is Reese Witherspoon.

Ultimately, the beauty did not take home the top prize at this year's competition. (That honor went to Miss South Africa, Demi Leigh Nel-Peters.) But, Cailín was one of the top 16 finalists and had a great, sunny attitude about the whole experience. The contestant took to social media to congratulate the winner and thank all those who supported her as she worked toward competing in the big event.

Hmm, sunny attitude ... whom does that remind us of?

We'll be keeping our eyes peeled for more updates on the Irish stunner. And, we really hope she wears Draper James (that'd be Witherspoon's clothing line) for her next casual-wear competition.
