We're here for celebrities getting real about not having perfect skin. Everyone from Kendall Jenner to Lorde has spoken out recently in the most relatable way about what it's like to deal with acne. Now The Bachelor contestant Bekah Martinez is adding her voice to the conversation. (P.S. You might remember her as the contestant who accidentally ended up on a missing persons list.)
Yesterday, Martinez got really honest on her Instagram Story, sharing a photo of her skin sans makeup. "When people tell me my skin is 'flawless' but I'm wearing three different foundations," she wrote over top of the photo with an eyeroll emoji.

Her goal with the photo? She said she wants others to not feel ashamed about having acne. "It’s part of being human, and it doesn’t lessen your beauty or value," Martinez told Allure.
She also wants people with acne to know they aren't alone, and that is a problem for even famous folks. "I've always struggled with acne," she said, noting that "there’s very little transparency about ongoing skin issues from people in the public eye."
That's something to remember when scrolling through Instagram: What you see as flawless skin very well might actually be expertly applied foundation, so don't stress about it.
