Here was my chance to create the ultimate fit and flare dress for a dream housewife, complete with blonde bubble-flip hairdo and ruffled apron. Oh, and don't forget the pearls!
We went for it, leaving out no detail, including Christine sewing 100 yards of blue trim on to the edge of a pink petticoat for sheer perfection. We dressed Ralphie as a super cute loaf of bread ("Wonder Dog"), and Maria was thrilled with the result, which was a Mad Men/Mad Fashion collision of vintage meets fabulous! With the wig, she hesitated a little until we redid it to be slightly smaller and more perky...head to toe she looked like a perfectly frosted cake. You could just hear that perky ‘50s music playing in the background.
That was a great costume. I loved it. I keep passing a shopping cart on the edge of a parking lot on the way to work and think of the cart search.
a genius. a true artist of our time. love him and his group. makes me happy every week. keep it up. thrilling.
i love YOU and or your FABFABFAB show SO much! you truly have a gift, and such a warm & wonderful personality --you work miracles, and let us watch thank you Chris March! now, when are you coming back to the clubhouse???
Chris you are wonderful and your band of misfits make the show perfection. I love your talented team, personality, talent and looks lol. The show was great. My only question is, did the homeless guy get the cart back? Sixty bucks might seem like a lot at the time, but as you saw they aren't easy to procure in the city. Love the show.
