Chris March

Met with a Challenge

Chris explains why Chrissy's gown was the biggest challenge of the season.

Dec 6, 2011

Fulfilling my lifelong dream of designing a gown for the Met Ball (The Metropolitan Museum of Art's annual costume ball) was incredible; having an amazing client like Chrissy Teigen was amazing (and getting to cover the dress with thousands of Swarovski crystals was so decadent). Then why was this task the most overwhelming one of all the ten episodes of Mad Fashion? One word -- pressure.

I miss seeing Chris March!!!!

Mad Fashion is the BEST new show on Bravo. Keep the entertainment coming!

I feel so bad for you Chris! Your dress for Chrissy was beautiful, but NOT what it could have been if you had been allowed to do your thing. Chrissy is a swimsuit model. She is not high fashion. She just couldn't wrap her head around serious fashion and "edgy". She just looks pretty and shows boob. John Legend is like a black Ken doll. This is not bad. But for the MET event, to be shackled to a "make me look pretty" client- is a missed opportunity. You could have given her a HIGH fashion couture piece with an incredible neckpiece to fit right in with McQueen- if they had let you! Instead you were forced to give her a beautiful dress on a pretty girl, standing next to a cleancut guy in a tux.

I will echo your sentiment! Hope you and your crew will be back soon. Really enjoyed watching you all create!

My dearest Chris March - thank you for...well, everything! Your creativity, your people...your LAUGH...you just make me SO happy every week! Thank you, Bravo, for this beautiful show, this half hour of happiness.

Love the show. It's great to see a show where real talent (and not just fabricated drama) is showcased in every episode. Also, love watching the interaction between Chris and his staff. Hope to see more of it in the future!

Hello Talented Amazing Folks, As a Board member of EJC, an alternative high school for LGBT kids in Philadelphia ...may I be bold enough to beg for a cast member who would willing to "head line" a fundraiser for my kids? On behalf of my LGBT kids...PLEASE? fondly and lovingly, RT

Hello Doll. I love your show. I wish she would have let you design the dress with the leather shouder piece. I hope next season you get to design for STEAVIE NICKS. Cant wait for next season. I love your designs and I love you. We did not get enough this season. We want more.

I love you Chris! I can't wait to see more of your designs!!

Okay, it's been like a month... ready for season 2-- I need a Mad Fashion fix!!!

when is gonna be the next season ?????

Chris March is a genius. I loved the shows. His staff is creative, funny, entertaining and they all come across as very professional. This is a show that is a total fantasy because I would probably never wear anything even close to what Chris and his staff create but it is so fun to watch. Every week I was wondering what kind of outlandish outfit would come out of that incredible mind. I was never let down and I never missed a show. I don't know If I had a favorite episode but the Shoe Cage and the 50's Housewife were right at the top. I also loved the bra lady and the Marie Antoinette. They were all great.

I hope it will be back with new episodes in the near futture.

REALLY wanting this show to come back... LOVE that Chris March and all his waxky talented crew too!

I watched you on project runway and loved you. I do believe you got robbed out of making it to fashion week. I love your show. Can't wait for season 2!!!
