Episode 10: Bravotv.com's Assistant Editor thinks there can never be enough leather neck corsets.

I had to draw your attention to our Mad Fashion: Learning to Sew series, in which Izzy proves she's a "Renaissance bitch" by sewing some hair pieces together and Jake makes Chris a very special pillow. Let's just say neither of them should quit their day jobs to become seamstresses. mad-fashion-season-1-gallery-episode-110

Chris' client this week was swimsuit model Chrissy Teigen, who needed a breathtaking ballgown for the Met Ball. This was an incredible opportunity for Chris, and he needed to go all out to compete with all the other incredible designers who would be represented at the event. And the dress he had planned was probably one of the most intricate yet (see above if you need convincing).mad-fashion-season-1-gallery-episode-110

There was a great deal of shopping to be done, but Matt and Jake really got the best assignment -- a trip to the local goth store to pick up a leather neck corset. Because what outfit is complete without a proper leather neck corset.mad-fashion-season-1-gallery-episode-110

Although the outfit neared completion, there was the small matter of the exposed boob. Since Chris was fairly certain Chrissy wouldn't be into rockin' the Lil' Kim look. mad-fashion-season-1-gallery-episode-110

Chrissy and John loved the dress, but they weren't too sure about the leather neck corset. (And yes, I am just trying to use "leather neck corset" as many times as possible in this recap). But with a little adjustment Chris eventually convinced them.mad-fashion-season-1-gallery-episode-110

Well, he convinced them for a few hours anyway. Then Chrissy decided that she just couldn't commit to the leather neck corset (See, I wasn't kidding!) and asked for something new. So with nothing but a hope and a prayer and a whole lot of feathers, Chris came up with something just as spectacular. In the end Chrissy got to strut her stuff with confidence donning some true Mad Fashion for the the Met Ball. Hurrah!

Episode 9: Bravotv.com's Assistant Editor thinks Izzy and Alex need to make a boob-themed musical.

I think it's mandatory that before you read the recap of this episode you take a moment to watch this video in which Izzy and Alex spout every name for boobs they can come up with.

See, aren't you pumped for an episode about bras now? I had completely forgotten about the word bazongas. People should bring it back into the vernacular.

I also think Alex and Izzy should seriously consider putting together a movie or musical called "Tits in Space". Between Izzy's wigs and Alex's outrageous outfits, I can only imagine how completely over-the-top the costumes would be. Maybe it would be a fashion show, but I just need that to happen.mad-fashion-season-1-gallery-episode-109

This week Chris' cups ranneth over as he had to create a bra-tastic ensemble for Jene Luciani, author of The Bra Book. Luckily she was game for some of Chris' Mad Fashion and let him run wild with brasseries. Two hundred brasseries to be exact. Which means four hundred individual cups in need of pink spray paint and bedazzling. Let's just say it was a real handful for Christine and Jake (haha boob jokes!).mad-fashion-season-1-gallery-episode-109

Izzy had a bit of a wig out moment when she became completely frazzled by all the frizz. When Alex couldn't even come up with something good to say about it, she knew it was doomed. The saddest part was that even after she managed to salvage it, the color was completely off and the whole hair piece ended up getting scrapped. Well maybe not so sad for Izzy, who was relieved to see it go. mad-fashion-season-1-gallery-episode-109

Wig aside, everything else really came together and Jene loved the dress. Chris really delivered on his promise to make her cleavage look classy. While he may have thought it was a bra-strocity, I thought it was more of a bra-nanza.

P.S. Is it just me or do the cups look like cute, little creatures?Next week Chris faces his biggest challenge yet when he has to design a fabulous gown for Chrissy Teigen to wear to the Met Ball.
