Bravotv.com: What was life like immediately following the show?
After the show life was interesting to say the least. It was crazy how just walking down the street people knew your name and wanted to come up and meet you.

Bravotv.com: You and your wife moved to New York — can you share that experience?
We moved to Brooklyn in mid-July and it was great at first. After about the third month we got tired of big city life. Too many people, crowded subways, $9 beers. It wasn’t for us. April being there made it better though because she was my comfort in all the craziness.

Bravotv.com: We heard you moved back — what happened?
After seven months, we moved back because nothing was going on. When the economy took a fall, most of the new guys were struggling. April, even with a degree, couldn’t find a job because no one was hiring, people were being laid off. She could only teach music lessons part-time. So instead of waiting around and doing nothing, we moved back so that we can make money.

Bravotv.com: What have you been up to? Where are you working?
I am working as a Sheriff’s Deputy. I did the testing for Nashville Fire Dept and will hopefully get a call soon. April is teaching a music class called “Music for Aardvarks.” It’s a really cool music program for toddlers.

Bravotv.com: Did you still get called “Bronnie” on the street? How often do you get to speak to Ronnie?
No, not in Nashville. We try to keep in touch but life can get crazy.

Bravotv.com: Do you keep in touch with anyone else from the show?
When we lived in NY we hung out with Casey a lot. He’s a great guy and I’m glad I got to know him on the show. April loves Top Chef and we went to the tour that came through Nashville. After the show, we hung out with Antonia and Ryan from Season 4. We had a great time with them and I believe Ryan may be my long lost brother.

Bravotv.com: Anything else you want to share?
In recent news, April and I are expecting our first baby in October! We are very excited and can’t wait to find out what we’re having.

I never voted for anything or anyone on a TV show, but when I tuned in to one of the episodes, I thought "this is a guy who could represent anything from a Hathaway Shirt with an eye patch to things I'd see browsing through GQ." You make fashion believable. So I voted for you week after week. That's the best compliment I can give a professional whose job it is to connect a potential client with an employer. Rock on! I never had one inclination to vote for anybody on a TV show, but I saw one episode of MMASM and thought, "this guy could advertise anything from an old fashioned Hathaway Shirt ad with an eye patch to anything I'd care to buy thumbing through GQ." I found myself calling in to vote for you every week. You're the kind of guy who is both "high fashion" and simply manly enough to have a wide base of support. I think they were nuts not to award the final prize to you, but I hope you follow your path as a model, and if I saw you modeling for a store, from Macy's to Armani, I'd probably buy the item. That's about the best compliment I can give to a professional whose business is to hook a client for an employer. Best to you. Rock On! Bud

If I was your mother I would have told you to hold of on marriage and pursure your passions first. I wish that I had listen to my parents and friends. Life is quick and when we wake up sometimes it is often too late to make changes. When someone loves you they will always wait for you. Trust me, God bless you. You seem like a nice guy.

With that bone structure, face and body...if you can't find a job modeling then there's no hope for anyone else.
I can understand how life in New York could be overwhelming for those coming in from smaller, quieter places. I give you and your wife credit for going back to where you were happy and loved. Now you can focus on how to make "little Ben" a supermodel in about 20 years.
It was so good to hear about you. You were always my favorite. I wish you all the best in your life.

Sorry to hear that he & April had to move back to TN, but perhaps that will be the best place to be: near family --to help raise the new babe. And damn, I just hope that if I ever get pulled over, for whatever reason, in Nashville that Ben is the arresting officer. It'll be worth it! lol Best of luck to you Ben.
