My First Time
CJ dishes on working with Jordan and her go-see with Salome.
March 3, 2009It was our first day on the show and we all thought that we were going to be going to the house and just settling and starting the next day. That didn’t happen. We showed up to where we thought was going to be the house and there was a giant red box hanging in the air and Tyson waiting for us. We soon found out we were going to be having our first photo shoot which involved the box. The surprise was that we were going to have to do it in our underwear with a partner. Jordan chose me as her partner and I was really looking forward to working with her until I got in the box. We couldn’t stand up because the box was too small and the heels I was wearing made it close to impossible to move. When we were in the air we couldn’t keep it level and we were told to make it dramatic while filling the box. The photographer was really difficult to work with and didn’t make us feel comfortable with what we were doing. He pretty much said "No you look ugly. Take them down." So it all kind of sucked and I wasn’t feeling too good about my performance or how Jordan and I worked together. After that was over we got to go see the house …
The next day Nicole came to the house to give us our pictures from the photo shoot and Salome won the challenge. She was then told that she was going to be going on a go-see and she could bring one person with her. She picked me and I said that I was her choice because I was the least competition. We went to see Catherine Malandrino where we tried on some clothes and walked. I felt like an accessory to the entire thing. They told me that there are height requirements but I would make a good print model and they told Salome she just needed to improve her walk. I was a little disappointed that I didn’t get more out of the experience. When we returned to the house we got to watch everyone finish getting waxed. Later that night Cory came to the apartment and told us that every week we would be measured, so we all had to get undressed to be measured.
The next morning we woke up early and went to the location where we would be doing our elimination. I was dressed in this bright pink jacket and skirt with these hideous floaty looking things on my arms. It looked like I should’ve been carrying a poodle. Anyways it wasn’t that bad for a first time. Ken ended up being eliminated.
Don't sweat the hair - I see your point, you've got a great natural color, and your aren't accustomed to hair that short - but I promise, the new makeover really worked for you. You look absolutely gorgeous!
As far as you getting eliminated: Sucks, but I saw it coming. I think if you'd been in a different group, with people more like yourself and more supportive of what you were doing, you would have performed better. Nobody can be expected to feel comfortable when they're surrounded by people that don't like them.
It's a shame. You're the most naturally beautiful girl on that show. I hope you continue to pursue modelling!

CJ- Keep your chin up! I know you and your hard shell can be threating but I also know the real you behind that, kill em with kindness girl!
That girl, whatever her name, made herself seem not only tasteless, but classless when she made that unnecessary Kate Moss comment about you. The judges need to have a little more dignity. Thoughts can be shared without losing site of common decency.
they really gave u a great makeover. Brown and short hair made u pop out. But ur attitude... it should be u to go...
Being a brunette is not that bad. You were upset w/Salome's comment about you, but you're just as mean and catty as she in your comments about being a brunette. I think you look drop-dead gorgeous as a brunette w/blue eyes.
You know Wynona Rider (sp?) is a natural blond? She is! Everyone thinks she's a brunette.
On the runway you looked and acted like your mommy made you do something you didn't want to do. You looked pouty and pissed off and acted the part to. And as usual you blamed every thing and everybody but yourself.
Every model is under the same stress and purposely put under as rough conditions as you. Stop whining and knock-em dead. You got a rocking body and beautiful hair and eyes.
Believe it or not, I'm pulling for you, so stop whining and making excuses.

CJ- you definately need an attitude adjustment. Quit whining just because you aren't blond, seriously being a brunette is not bad, get over yourself.
CJ: Cory was right, you've got a slammin' body! While you may not be tall enough for runway I think you will do great in all other aspects of modeling and the show. You are my absolute favorite and I'll be cheering for you in the coming episodes!
P.S.: Don't let Salome's mean comments get you down, that sort of thing only makes her look worse.
CJ, You are a living doll and I love your spirit! You are so beautiful and photogenic.Who wants to be six feet tall? kind of freakish to be that tall.I enjoy waiting to hear what you might say, because you don't hold back and that its a good thing.If you don't make it to the end, it is just a wrong decision.Big things are waiting for you! keep on rocking.

i have never posted anything like this. i just saw the episode where you had to change your hair from long blonde to short and dark.. girl you look stunning. you need to keep smiling and know youre gorgeous no matter what your hair looks like..good luck
CJ, You have the most photogenic face of the bunch hands down. On top of it you're probably more intelligent than everyone there. Be self confident and let those beautiful emotional eyes steal every shot and capture every heart. No need for you to worry about what people say.

Whiney AND full of excuses. You could have learned so much from the other girl in the box with you if you would have just calmed down and listened to her and followed her lead. You set yourself up to fail. That's why you won't win this competition. I agree with Kia - you really need to work on your attitude.

CJ - you ARE absolutely lovely - but I think once you go back and read your first blog entry, you'll regret sounding so....whiney. I'm sorry - I wish you all the best, and I totally sympathize for Salome's insensitive comment about being able to beat you, but you need to work on your attitude.
