What an honor to be part of New York Fashion Week. I mean, this the fashion capital, where models and designers come from all over the world. The models that walk for fashion week are simply the best of the best, an opportunity to really learn from them. Alexander Herschovich was my first show at New York fashion week, but also my first show spectating. I am always on the runway, it was so incredible to be in the audience, not to mention sitting in the second row! That was the feeling of a lifetime.
And the Sass and Bide show, I saw models with dead looks, soft looks, and sexy looks! It's crazy, because there is so much information to take in and digest. 60% of what got me here was my walk. I have had no actual training prior to coming here; I just kinda figured it out from TV and mirrors.
Basically, I was under the impression that they wanted me to portray the sexy model, after all, the created my look to market me to my potential. This week, being in the bottom four um, sucked really bad. I am not here to be underperforming. I need to work on that, and I am going to show the panel that I use my talents to the best that I can. Instead of being discouraged of my "sexy" walk, I am going to use that as a motivation. Take it to the gym and take it to the catwalk!
