I've just finished watching one of the Miami Social episodes and I felt the urge to write you.
I must say I’m not much of a reality shows person but you caught my eye while I was minding my own business.
First of all, I feel so strongly, like you do, when it comes to the gay scene.
It is one huge disgusting meat market! The way I see it nothing good can come out of it.
What I’m trying to say is that you’re definitely one of kind! It’s so nice to see
You’re not sucked into this fake world and you have your own standards for quality. When you and Maria had this conversation about how to get/keep a man, she gave the best advice a friend could ever give you. Just be yourself. The rest will follow.
You have so much to offer I wish I had a BF like you.
You are smart, witty, funny, have a great smile and above all that..
a human being.
Ohh and one last thing, I know your hair is a sensitive issue for you but just between us (and everyone else who reads this blog :) I LOVE IT.

Michael u r a sweetheart soooo loving....I miss Miami Beach I lived there the first year the News Cafe open ia a $350 apt in the building that would become Versace's Casa...yup they were great unique apts all over looking theis mediterranean courtyard. But those were some bloody days....We really did party like Al Pacino & Co. Now with a clear head and full heart....I love life and back in NYC trying to figure out how to get back to the Beach!!!!!!!!!! michael....you are the BEST... during every episode you became everyone's favorite without a doubt. I loved the show because it was done with such style, and also had so many flavors which would have been apealing to just about anyone. I loved the ending, so different from your typical reality show endings. Your gay Michael, straight Michael was my favorite line of yours. I wish I had a friend like you. Michael, I just love the show and my favorite part is when you and Katrina are together. She is gorgeous and you are hot - boy I love to see you both hanging out - I think when they made you they broke the mold. You are funny, confident and keeping everyone entertained. Well Michael, as much as we all loved George (in terms of the texting "fiasco" in the finale) I can’t blame Sorah for hitting the "F-U" when that text came in. As person you can only allow someone to hurt you so much and there needs to come a time when you sever the ties and call it quits. From Sorahs side of the spectrum she did not want George to jeopardize her relationship with Gonzalo. Well socialites I’ll see you next season!

I must admit that I didn't think you came across very well in the early episodes. However, as the show progressed I found myself liking you more and more. Consider yourself the winner of the "Miami Socialite I'd Most Like to Hang Out With" Award. You are funny, kind, and manage to "tell it like it is" without offending. I have no doubt that you will find love, but you can't cross that bridge without a few alligators snapping at your toes (Diego).
I hope to see you in Season 2. Season 1 was over before it barely started.

Considering you are about as far south on the Right Coast as one can get before leaving the US (I'm almost as far south as one can get without leaving the US on the Left Coast - San Diego) all I can say is I so wish you lived in San Diego. Im 38, gay latino in Chicago and I have had my share of failed romances. Its been a while since I have had a serious relationship and I decided to just give myself some time to focus on improving me both physically and mentally. The scene is so full of guys looking down at me just because I dont have the 6 pack abs or the most expensive fashion, they just live for the clubs and the one night stands and just watching you on the show reminds me that there are still some good, down to earth guys out there. Michael/Mike--From a str8 guy point of view I love looking at Katrina but I truly enjoy watching all your scenes because w/u watching is learning. For a while there I wasn't sure about liking Ariel but I just knew there had to be something there just because you liked him and then boom he puts that a*hole designer in his creepy place.
