Rollercoaster Relationship

Find out what George thought of Lina's outbursts, dinner with Sorah, and Maria's comments.

Well the rollercoaster relationship with Lina the meanwhile I'm not going to stop living when she decides to disappear. I do believe she was way out of line.

First of all, everyone is entitled to an opinion, however I live by a rule my Mom always told me, 'If you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything.' I certainly don't go around trash talking about anyone else (which Maria's blog also covered last week - I think if you want to take shots at others you better make sure you and your facts are bulletproof').

I really did appreciate Katrina speaking up at the Gansevoort regarding everyone else's concern with Lina and that they should focus on themselves... .However, back to Maria, and her account of finding me half naked in bed with another girl. Apparently Maria was there or came in the second wave of people and decided to voice her version of what she thought was happening. It's not her place or anyone else's regardless how right, wrong or otherwise the scenario may have been to make such comments in a public forum. It really wasn't appreciated. Nor was Michael's statement to Lina, whether it was in jest or was out of place. Regardless, friendships come with disagreements and that's part of the growing experience. Sorah's statement that I can't be alone, in some ways is true and also a bit out of context. I enjoy quiet time and time by myself but I'm also a social person and like to be around my friends. In this case I was dealing with the girl (Lina) whom I care deeply about, but who's wrapped up in work or whatever and constantly disappears or blows off our plans...whether excusable or not, it sucks.

When people are in that mode they want a distraction or to be in a social atmosphere and that's what it came down don't read into my invitation to Sorah to hang out, or the close-ups of the tequila bottles. It wasn't anything more! I do hope things with Lina level out so that we can start to focus on each other and spend more quality time with less distractions... As far as me vs. Gonzalo, there is no battle. I think he's a good person.. As long as Sorah is happy, I'm happy....sometimes you just have to give your friends a hard time in jest, and a few lychee martinis help that along as well!

I did want to mention that it's nice to see Katrina is keeping busy in this market (it's not DEAD), and as we can see the cash buyers are king now, however financing for clients is picking up. You can always check my company if you don't have the millions her clients have at

Lastly I do want to mention that I'm sure Ariel is going to get a bunch of sh#@ this week, but he does mean well and is a good person at heart. The problem is how he expresses himself and it was good of Hardy and Katrina to have the little intervention they did to explain how to conduct yourself. BTW Ariel write this down: Steve Jobs is the CEO of Apple, Bill Gates is the Chairman of Microsoft....cut him some slack, Forrest Gump thought Apple was a fruit company-LOL....and yes Mike, I know its 1:55pm and you still hate Ariel...

George explains why finding one's "inner whore" was the theme of the finale!

I actually have watched the finale half a dozen times from beginning to end and found myself incredibly moved (in many different directions)....

However one theme was evident:

Katrina and Ben finalized their chapter and embarked on new find their inner whores separately.

Maria decided she wants to start dating and prolong her life by finding her inner whore.

Michael did some self improvement=confidence=dating=inner whore.

Ariel shows his inner whore has some ethics.

Sorah has found the man to satisfy her inner whore...

Hardy figures out his inner whore probably just isn't ready to settle down yet......and me???

We'll, I've tried all season long to supress my inner whore and transcend my past to focus on one woman whom I would want to grow old with....I've really got nothing else to say...
