Martyn Lawrence Bullard

Martyn is far from Clueless when it comes to actress Stacey Dash's dream home, and redecorates to her heart's content.

on Dec 11, 20120

Finally after the install of all our sparkly-warkly bits, glamorous chandeliers, and fluffy pillows, Stacey arrives for the reveal. Not only is she emotionally bowled over by the finishing touches on her dream home, but the sexy, lounge-y, dreamy palette is completely giving the home her absolute vibe. We save the best for last and finally reveal the bedroom, the heart of Stacey's home. Upon seeing the finishing touches (the fainting couch, the fur blanket, the crystal wall lights, and silver brocade pillows) Stacey throws herself on everything, moaning in pure ecstasy!

As a designer you want nothing more than for your client to love your work -- and this is more than a dalliance, this is a passionate love affair of untold decorative delights!

For me it's been a complete pleasure to see my old friend love the home that she waited so long for me to do for her! She is certainly living, loving and, of course, decorating Martyn style!

Someone that makes a rap album may take 5 minutes to write down an obnoxious lyric and yet makes 5 million.

Love Martyn's designs, creativity, style, etc.....BUT seriously, when he said the rug under Stacey's bed was $10,000, and on it they placed her existing Antoinette Fainting Sofa?!  You can buy that from Urban Outfitters or Target for around $600 and $400 respectively.  I guess I was shocked someone would place such an economical piece on a rug like that!  HOWEVER, love love love the show, Martyn, and Stacey Dash!!!  :)

I really loved your beautiful touches to Stacy's beautiful home. I normally don't warm to those colors, but you accomplished it beautifully. I especially loved the kitchen and, of course, the bedroom. I congratulate Stacy as well, for her good taste.

The house turned out fabulous, however it was overshaddowed by the bizarre performance from the home owner.I mean REALLY??? Was she auditioning for porn for a fake foreign country? That was hard to watch.

Was it just me or is Stacy Dash the most annoying person with that over the top fake accent?Ugg, I had to press mute every time she spoke. However the house looked beautiful and thats all that matters.

Not sure where you get your vision, but absolutely LOVE, LOVE the products you come up with and how you use them.  I enjoy the show very much, thanks for making it entertaining and informative.

@jules1019 Don't be so serious.:) Have fun with it.  Stacy was cute and fun. I loved her reaction to the dropped mirror. That cracked me up and then when she got on that bed...... too funny. She apparently loved the whole house. That is the reaction I love to see when a home is more than what you expect. Martyn Lawrence Bullard delivers again.

@vineyardbound its all subjective taste. And rich people choose who they want based on their past work. So theyre getting the taste they desire. Martyn is not cheap and cheerful. Like with anything designer you are paying for the name and reputation mostly.

@vineyardbound Are you envious....or jelly much? Martin deserves every penny if people are willing to go to him for his obvious expertise and extreme sexy creativity. Someone that makes a rap album may take 5 minutes to write down an obnoxious lyric and yet makes 5 million. It’s not about working like a slave; it’s about being an expert at your craft. You always can use what you learn from the show to create your own style on a modest budget. Stop hating!!
